My Little Tangled

Chapter 6

As they walked down the path, Sonic Rainboom said "I know it's around here somewhere." He looked ahead to see restaurant called the Snuggly Hay, and said "Ah, there it is, the Snuggly Hay. Don't worry, very quaint place, perfect for you. Don't want you scaring and giving up on this whole endeavour, now do we?" "Well, I do like hay." Rainbow Dash said smiling. Sonic Rainboom smiled, and said "Yay!" They walked up to the restaurant, and Sonic Rainboom opened the door as he said "Sir, your finest table please!" Rainbow Dash gasped in horror as she looked at a group of dangerous-looking group of ponies. She immediately held up her frying pan in defense as Sonic Rainboom pushed her inside, and said "You smell that? Take a deep breath through the nose." He sniffed, and said "Really let that seep in." As they walked past the dangerous ponies, Rainbow Dash kept on yelping as Sonic Rainboom said "What are you getting? Because to me-..." Rainbow Dash yelped again, and Sonic Rainboom said "That's part pony-smell, and the other part is really bad pony-smell. I don't know why, but overall, it just smells like the color brown." When Spike saw a cook, cooking dragon gem stones, he yelped, and hid in Rainbow Dash's mane. "Your thoughts?" Sonic Rainboom asked as one of the dangerous ponies grabbed Rainbow Dash's mane, making her scream. As she ran with her mane. an earth pony named Big Daddy McColt who was the one who grabbed the golden mane said "That's a lot of mane and tail."

"She's growing it out." Sonic Rainboom said. He pointed at the dry blood on Big Daddy McColt's mustache, and said "Is that blood in your mustache? Goldie, look at this. Look at all the blood in his mustache. That, sir, that's a lot of blood." Rainbow Dash backed up, and accidently bumped into a unicorn named Claude who turned, and glared at her. As Rainbow Dash backed away from Claude, Sonic Rainboom walked over to her, and said "Hey, you don't look so good, blondie. Maybe we should get you home. Call it a day. Probably be better off. This is a five star joint after all, and if you can't handle this place, well, maybe you should be back in your tower." They tried to walk out the door, but an earth pony named Big Mac shut the door on them while holding a wanted poster, making Rainbow Dash gasp in fear. "Is this you?" Big Mac asked pointing at the wanted poster. They looked at the wanted poster as Sonic Rainboom removed Big Mac's hoof to reveal a picture of himself with a nose that looks more like a duck's bill. "Aw. Now they're just being mean!" Sonic Rainboom said in total dismay. "Ho, ho, it's him all right." A pegasai pony named Dumb-Bell said. He looked at another pegasai pony named Flash Sentry, and said "Flash, go find some guards! That reward's going to buy me a new hook!"

As Flash Sentry took off to find the pony guards, a unicorn named Fashion Plate grabbed Sonic Rainboom, and said "I could use the money!" "What about me?!" Big Mac asked as he took Sonic Rainboom from Fashion Plate. "Ah'm broke!" As the dangerous ponies began fighting over Sonic Rainboom, Rainbow Dash said "Please, stop!" "We can work this out!" Sonic Rainboom said as the dangerous ponies began pulling him. As Rainbow Dash tried to help the thief, she said "Please, leave him alone!" "Gentlecolts, please!" Sonic Rainboom said. "Give me back my guide!" Rainbow Dash said wacking the dangerous ponies with her frying pan. "Ruffians!" The dangerous ponies held onto Sonic Rainboom as Dumb-Bell prepared to punch him in the nose. "Not the nose, not the nose, not the nose!" Sonic Rainboom said in fear. Rainbow Dash quickly used her mane to tie a deer antler, and wacked Dumb-Bell on the head with it. "Put him down!" Rainbow Dash shouted. Dumb-Bell turned to Rainbow Dash who sighed, and said "Okay, I don't know where I am, and I need him to take me to see the lanterns because I have been dreaming about them my entire life! Find your humility! Haven't any of you ever had a dream?!" Dumb-Bell approached Rainbow Dash threateningly, but stopped midway as he took a deep breath, and said "I had a dream...once." He jumped on the stage, and as he played the piano, he said "I may be malicious, mean, and scary, but I always wanted to be a concert pianist."

Rainbow Dash smiled, and then an earth pony named Hayseed Turnip Truck gently approached her, and said "I may look like a ugly pony, but I really want to make a love connection with a very special somepony! After all, I'm a lover, not a fighter." A pegasai pony named Crafty Crate did some flower arrangements in a red vase, and said "I would someday like to be a florist!" "I do interior design." A unicorn named Trenderhoof said showing off his skill in back corner that turned into a spot for reading. An earth pony named Cheese Sandwich showed his mime skills to Rainbow Dash, telling her that he would like to be a mime someday. Fashion Plate showed his cupcakes to Rainbow Dash, and said "I make delicious cupcakes!" "I love knitting!" A unicorn named Fancy Pants said knitting a blue scarf. "I love sewing!" Another unicorn named Jet Set said sewing a sweater. "I do little puppet shows." A pegasai pony named Cloud Chaser said making puppets hit each other in a silly way. "And Big Mac collects ceramic animals." Dumb-Bell said. Big Mac showed his ceramic animal collection to Rainbow Dash, and said "Eeyup!" Everypony looked at Sonic Rainboom as Dumb-Bell said "What about you?" "I'm sorry, me?" Sonic Rainboom asked. "What's your dream?" Hayseed Turnip Truck asked. Sonic Rainboom shook his head, and said "No, no, no. Sorry bronies. I don't tell my dreams." The dangerous ponies pointed their swords at Sonic Rainboom, and his face paled in fear as he chuckled nervously, and said "My dream is to live on an island that I own with enormous piles of bits."

The dangerous ponies looked at Rainbow Dash who said "I want to see the floating lanterns gleam, and with each passing hour, I'm so glad I left my tower." Outside Rarity approached the Snuggly Hay, and looked through the window to see Rainbow Dash, and the dangerous ponies celebrating their respective dreams. Suddenly, Flash Sentry bursted through the door, and said "I found the guards!" Everypony looked at Flash Sentry in shock, and Sonic Rainboom pulled Rainbow Dash away. Shining Armor pushed Flash Sentry out of the way, and said "Where's Rainboom?! Where is he?!" As he and the two pony guards walked in, he said "I know he's in here somewhere. Find him, turn the place upside down if you have to!" Sonic Rainboom took a quick peek up above the counter that he, and Rainbow Dash were hiding in to see that one of the pony guards were pulling Flim and Flam in the restaurant. Sonic Rainboom ducked down in fear. Dumb-Bell looked down at Sonic Rainboom and Rainboom, and moved them to a hidden door on the floor. He opened the door which led to a tunnel, knelt down to Rainbow Dash, and said "Go, live your dream." "I will." Sonic Rainboom said. Dumb-Bell glared at the theif, and said "Your dream stinks. I was talking to her." Sonic Rainboom rollled his eyes, and crawled in the tunnel as Rainbow Dash looked at Dumb-Bell, and said "Thanks for everything." She kissed his cheek, and she and Spike followed Sonic Rainboom.

"Ah believe this is the stallion you're looking for." Big Mac said showing an elderly earth pony named Pappy Smith who held his hooves up, and said "You got me." "Sir, there's no sign of Rainboom." One of the pony guards said. Derpy Hoof then bursted through the door, and I said "I know where Sonic Rainboom is!" "Derpy Hoof!" Shining Armor said as Derpy Hoof let him to a lever. "What are you doing?" Shining Armor asked. Derpy Hoof groaned in exasperation, and pulled a lever to reveal a secret passage. Shining Armor gasped, and said "A passage. Come on, stallions let's go!" He looked at the pony guard near Flim and Flam, and said "You! Make sure those unicorns don't get away!" Flim and Flam looked at the guard who pointed his weapon at them, and Flam knocked him out with his magic. Flim unchained himself, and Flam with the axe, and said "Play it safe. We'll go get the crown." Rarity looked at Flim and Flam with curiosity, and Pappy Smith walked out the door. When he saw Rarity, he said "Oooooh, somepony get me a glass, because Ah just found me a tall drink of water." Rarity smiled, and said "Oh, stop it you big lug. A-ha-ha-ha-ha." Then she got serious as she pointed her dagger at Pappy Smith, and said "Where does that tunnel lead out?" "Knife!" Pappy Smith said as he shook in fear.
