On the other side, Flim and Flam emerged from the door that lead to a tunnel, completely wet from the water in the dam. "I'll kill him! I'll kill that Rainboom!" Flim said. "We'll cut him off at the kingdom, and get back the crown." Flam said. "Come on!" Suddenly, they heard a voice that said "Colts!" They both looked up to see Rarity who revealed the satchel to the two unicorns, and said "Perhaps you want to stop acting like wild dogs chasing their tails, and think for a moment." Flim and Flam drew their swords out, and prepared to attack, but Rarity chuckled, and said "Please, there's no need for that." She tossed the satchel to Flim who caught it with his magic, and they both looked inside to see the crown inside. "Well, if that's all that you desire, then be on your way." Rarity said. "I was going to offer you something worth one thousand crowns, would have made you rich beyond belief, and that wasn't even the best part, hoho, oh well, farewell. Enjoy your crown." "What's the best part?" Flim asked. Rarity looked at Flim and Flam as she smirked, held up the wanted poster for Rainbow Blitz, and said "It comes with revenge on Sonic Rainboom." Flim and Flam smirked at each other, and accepted Rarity's offer.

-Later that night-

In another part of the Everfree Forest, Spike had lit up a campfire as Rainbow Dash wrapped her mane around Rainbow Blitz's injured hoof. "So, you're being strangely cryptic as you wrap your magic mane around my injured hoof." Rainbow Blitz said. He suddenly groaned in pain. "Sorry." Rainbow Dash said as she finished wrapping her mane around Rainbow Blitz's injured hoof. She sighed, and said "Just don't...don't freak out." She sighed, and started to sing. As she sang the healing song, her mane and tail started to glow a bright gold color, much to the amazement of Rainbow Blitz. He looked at Spike who said "Look at your hoof." Rainbow Blitz looked down on his hoof when the bright gold color reached the scratch. He looked at Spike who just nodded. Rainbow Dash then finished singing as her mane and tail stopped glowing, and she looked up at Rainbow Blitz who gently removed the mane from his hoof, and looked at it as if it was never injured at all. He was about to scream, but Rainbow Dash stopped him as she said "Please don't freak out!" Rainbow Blitz paused for a minute, and said "I'm not freaking out. Are you freaking out? No. I'm just very interested in your mane and tail, and the magical qualities that it posesses. How long has it been doing that exactly?"

"Uh, forever, I guess." Rainbow Dash said. "Mother says when I was a baby foal, ponies tried to cut it. They wanted to take it for themselves." She showed the rainbow colored cut mane to Rainbow Blitz as she said "But, once it's cut, it turns rainbow and loses its power. A gift like that, it has to be protected. That's why mother never let me-." She sighed, and said "That's why I never left the...hmm." "You never left that tower." Rainbow Blitz said as Rainbow Dash nodded. "And you're still gonna go back?" "No!" Rainbow Dash said. "Yes?" She sighed sadly, and said "It's complicated." She took a deep breath, and said "So, Rainbow Blitz, huh?" "Uh, yeah." Rainbow Blits said. "Well, I'll spare you the sob story of poor orphan Rainbow Blitz. It's a little bit of a...that's a little bit of a downer." Rainbow Dash got closer to Rainbow Blitz, because she wanted to hear more. Rainbow Blitz then took a deep breath, and said "Huh. There was this book, a book I used to read every night to all the younger foals. 'The Tales Of Sonic Rainboom.' Swashbuckling rogue, richest stallion alive, not bad with the mares, either. Not that he would brag about it, of course." "Hmm." Rainbow Dash said. "Was he a thief too?" "Uh...well, no, actually, he had enough money to do anything that he wanted to do. He could go anywhere that he wanted to go. And-And-And for a colt with nothing, I don't know, I...just seemed like a better option." "Hmm." Rainbow Dash said.

"You can't tell anypony about this, okay?" Rainbow Blitz asked. "It could ruin my whole reputation." "Ah. We wouldn't want that." Rainbow Dash said. "Well, a fake reputation is all a stallion has." They chuckled a little, and they looked at each other as they smiled. Rainbow Blitz then cleared his throat, and said "Well, I should, um...I-I should...I should get some more firewood." He stood up, and started to walk, but Rainbow Dash stopped him, and said "Hey. For the record, I like Rainbow Blitz much better than Sonic Rainboom." "Well, then you'd be the first." Rainbow Blitz said. "But, thank you." He then walked away as Rainbow Dash smiled, and said "Hmm." Suddenly, Rarity approached Rainbow Dash, and said "Well! I thought he'd never leave!" Rainbow Dash gasped, and turned to see her mother as she said "Mother!" "Hello, dear." Rarity said. As Spike hid from sight by blending into a log, Rainbow Dash said "But, I-I-I-I don't, uh...how did you find me?" Rarity hugged her daughter, and said "Oh, it was easy really. I just listened to the sound of complete and utter betrayal, and followed that." Rainbow Dash sighed, and said "Mother-." "We're going home, Rainbow Dash. Now." Rarity said as she began to drag her daughter. Rainbow Dash stopped, and said "You-You don't understand. I've been on this incredible journey, and I've seen and learned so much! I even met somepony." "Yes, the wanted thief. I'm so proud." Rarity said. "Come on, Rainbow Dash."

"Mother, wait." Rainbow Dash said. "I think-I think he likes me." "Likes you?" Rarity asked. "Please, Rainbow Dash, that's demented!" "But, mother, I-!" Rainbow Dash tried to say, but her mother interrupted her, and said "This is why you never should have left!" Rainbow Dash sighed, and Rarity said "Darling, this whole romance that you've invented just proves you're too naive to be here. Why would he like you? Come on now, really. Look at you! You think that he's impressed? Don't be a dummy, come with mummy. After all, mother-." Rainbow Dash then got a little angry, and said "No!" "No?!" Rarity asked. Then she smirked, and said "Oh. I see how it is. You think you know best. You think you're mature now. A very clever grown-up mare. Fine, if you think you know best, and you are so sure now, go ahead, and give him this!" She showed the satchel to Rainbow Dash who gasped, and said "How did you-?!" Rarity interrupted her as she took out the crown, and said "This is why he's here! Don't let him deceive you!" She tossed the crown to Rainbow Dash, and said "Give it to him, watch, and you'll see." Rainbow Dash caught the crown, and said "I will!" "Trust me, my dear, that's how fast he'll leave you!" Rarity said. "I won't say I told you so! But, no! You know best! So if he's such a dreamboat, then put him to the test!" "Mother, wait!" Rainbow Dash said. "If he's lying, then don't come crying! Mother knows best after all!" Rarity said. She then vanished, leaving a stunned Rainbow Dash behind.

She gasped when she heard Rainbow Blitz who came back with more firewood, and said "So." Rainbow Dash quickly hid the crown and satchel in a log as Rainbow Blitz said "Hey, uh...can I ask you something? Is there any chance that I'm gonna get super strength in my hoof because I'm not gonna lie, that would be stupendous." He looked at Rainbow Dash who was staring ahead, and said "Hey, you all right?" "Oh! Sorry, yes, just, erm, lost in thought, I guess." "I mean because here's the thing." Rainbow Blitz said. "Superpony good looks, I've always had them, born with it, but superpony strength? Can you imagine the possibilities of this?" From behind the bushes, Flim and Flam wanted to attack them, but Rarity stopped them, and said "Patience, colts. All good things to those who wait."
