My Little Tangled

Chapter 1

-Many years later-

At the tower, a cute dragon with purple scales, and green spikes named Spike who has the unique ability to blend into his surroundings. He went out the window and closed the shutters, and blended into a nearby flower pot. The shutters opened, and revealed Rainbow Dash, now a full grown mare who's golden mane was seventy feet long. "Ha!" Rainbow Dash said. She looked around, and said "Hmm. Well, I guess Spike's not hiding out here." Rainbow Dash casually walked off. Spike sniggered, but then, a piece of the golden mane caught his tail, and hung him upside down. "Gotcha!" Rainbow Dash said as Spike screamed. "That's twenty-two for me." Rainbow Dash said. "How about twenty-three out of forty-five?" "No thanks." Spike said frowning. "Well, what do you want to do?" Rainbow Dash asked. "I want to go outside with you!" Spike said pointing outside. "Yeah, I don't think so." Rainbow Dash said. "I like it in here, and so do you." Spike just stuck his tougne out at Rainbow Dash in response.

"Oh, come on Spike." Rainbow Dash said trying to cheer her friend up. "It's not so bad in here." Spike went back inside, and Rainbow Dash flew up, and used her mane to open the tiny sunroof. She flew back down, and looked at the clock. It was 7AM, so she and Spike swept the floor til it was clean. Then they polished and waxed vases, did the laundry, mopped the floor, and shined up the candle holders. Then they swept the floor again, and by the time they finished it, it was 7:15AM. Rainbow Dash read three books, and added a few paintings to her gallery of walls and ceiling. She then played the guitar, and knitted a scarf. She even cooked an apple pie. She looked at the wall above the fireplace, and decided to paint a picture on it. So, she took out some paint, removed the wooden craft from the wall, and started painting on it.

Then after lunch, Rainbow Dash and Spike finished some puzzles, threw darts at a target, and baked some sugar cookies. Rainbow Dash then made a paper-mache head that looked like her head which scared Spike. She then did a bit of ballet, and beated Spike in a game of chess. Rainbow Dash and Spike then made some clay pots, did some ventriloquy, and made some candles. Then they stretched, and Rainbow Dash did some sketching while Spike took a climb on her tail. Rainbow Dash then sewed a purple and pink dress for Spike who was irritated when he tried it on, but Rainbow Dash thought he looked really cute in the dress. Rainbow Dash then re-read the three books she read. She decided to paint some more, and it took her a while to find an empty space until she found one. She then brushed her mane multiple times until she finished.

Then Rainbow Dash ran around the room while tossing her mane to make it look like a spiral. Then she looked out the window, and said "Tomorrow night, lights will appear like they do on my birthday each year." She looked back at her painting which was a picture of the the sky filled with floating lanterns, and sighed. "What is it like out there where they glow?" Rainbow Dash asked as flew over to her painting. She then painted herself sitting on a tree while watching the floating lanterns as she said "Now that I'm older, Mother might just let me go." Rainbow Dash had really hoped that Rarity would let her go free after being stuck in the tower for so long.
