You gaze at the sea, watching the waves as they whoosh. You sigh, you came here in hopes of seeing the mystery man you'd once encountered.

- flashback-

You coughed a few times and attempted to wipe all the dirt that now covered your face. You could feel your ears ringing while you attempted to stand up. You gazed at what once had been your safe haven and frowned, there was nothing left but ashes and broken things. You coughed once more and tried to find an exit, certain that you'd soon go into a coughing fit if you didn't get out of there.

You squinted your eyes at the sudden light. It's been ages since you haven't left your safe haven, ages where you hadn't seen the sun or anything from the outside world for that manner. Why couldn't you stay in your safe haven? It seems like a bomb had been detonated, you groaned. When will this forsaken battle between humans and vampires end? You admired the sun, the smile on your face never leaving. You heard footsteps and froze, vampires.

You didn't waste any time and sprinted away. Your legs ached but you couldn't care less you had to get out of there. Your legs felt numb but you kept running afraid that they'd seen you. You tripped on something and collided with the ground.

You groaned wiping the sand away from your eyes.. Wait, sand? You sat up to take in your surroundings. You saw between trees what seemed like sea. You stood up and made your way out of the tree-filled area. Once you managed to get out of there you stared in awe at the sight in front of you. The sea shone under the sunlight while the sand looked as white as it could be. You grinned " amidst darkness and wreckage there's always light." You took your shoes of and dipped your feet in the refreshing water unaware of a pair of eyes lingering on you.

You smiled until you felt a breath on your neck, you froze. No,no,no they couldn't have been following you, you made sure of that however the warm breath on your neck proved otherwise. " you know? as much as I'd love to have a taste of that sweet blood of yours I'd hate to see you go pale" you shivered "l-let me go"

" stupid human, thinking you have some sort of advantage over me" your face went pale as you recognized the voice. A nobel couldn't have possibly - "that look of yours just gave you away, it seems we've met each other before, yes?" You couldn't find it in you to deny such an obvious fact so you simply stood there letting your fear consume you. "I take that silence as a yes. Wait, I remember now. You were that girl who helped cure one of us, weren't you?" He cooed in your ear, his voice sending shivers down your spine " in that case I can't even touch you, Rene would probably murder me.. Or at least he'd try to" he whispered once again in your ear, his smirk never faltering.

It was true, you'd saved Rene. You'd never seen a vampire in such a weak state as he was , he was leaning on a wall, blood staining his white clothes crimson. The noble let go of you, letting you take in his appearance. You were right, it had been him, Crowley Eusford one of the most powerful nobles. He grinned " take a picture, it'll last more" you felt your cheeks burn as you quickly diverted your gaze. You'd been gazing at him, you felt so embarrassed that he had caught you staring at him that you couldn't even look him in the eye. " you're too cute" you could feel your cheeks warm up even more ' please let him leave to save me from any further embarassment' you thought  however it was as if the world was mocking you and had decided to embarrass you even further. Before you knew it the noble was inches from you face, tilting your head so you'd look at him " I hate it when people don't look me in the eye" you couldn't help but admire his features from up close, from his enchanting red eyes to his toothy grin. " what's wrong,cat got your tongue?" The way he said it made your knees feel weak, making his grin even wider. He wiped the dust from your cheeks with his thumb, making you feel butterflies in your stomach. " meet me in this spot, a week from now at this same time." You shyly nodded making him chuckle, he let go of you and began walking away until he stopped " don't be late" and with those words being said he left you. You touched your cheek, suddenly missing the warmth of his hand.

End of flashback

And so here you were, waiting for the mysterious vampire. 'What if he forgot?' The thought made your stomach churn, he wouldn't, right? Oh who were you kidding of course he'd forget. You felt foolish for thinking otherwise, you face the beautiful sight once more and sigh. You turn on your heels ready to leave until a familiar voice interrupted you " I'm not late, am?" Before you knew it he was in front of you. " you didn't forget" a smile found it's way into his lips almost making you forget how long he'd made you wait... Almost. You rolled your eyes " clearly you did" he frowned " angel, don't be that way"

" angel?" He grinned " yes, my new nickname for you. Do you like it?" You turned arooud, your back facing him " flattery won't get you anywhere Eusford" he sighed, " angel I didn't forget. I was just busy preparing.." And in lightning like speed a picnic basket appeared before your eyes " this" you stared in awe at the setting and chuckled " well played Eusford" this made him chuckle as well " anything for you my angel" you could feel your cheeks warm up " stop calling me that, you barely know me" he leaned closer to your ear " then let's change that, my angel"

That night was carved into your memory and the mere thought of it made you smile, that night you learned who Crowley Eusford truly was. There's more than meets the eye when it comes to the vampire noble whom you fell in love with.
