You held a sobbing Mahiro as you sighed. You hated seeing Mahiro this way, you'd prefer the cocky and arrogant Mahiro any day rather than the broken one. You'd been helping Mahiro clean his house until he found a box filled with Aika's stuff. You begged him to let you take care of it rather than him but he insisted and eventually realization hit him.

How he'd never see Aika ever again. All the memories came rushing back and it simply..... broke him and now here you were, holding a sobbing Mahiro. You rubbed his back and let him cry on your shoulder." Don't cry Mahiro... Please" he shook his head as more sobs echoed throughout the large room.

You were already close to your breaking point as well. Aika had been your best and only friend throughout so many years and now she was.... Gone. " why?!" He managed to choke as tears threatened to spill from your eyes.

" it's not fair..." He muttered while clenching his fist. " Life isn't fair, Mahiro" he grit his teeth " how would you know?! Did you lose sister?! How can you be so enotionless?!" You let go of him as tears fell from your eyes " I'm not emotionless! Unlike you, who just today cried after all these years! I spent weeks without eating after her death! She may have been your sister but she was my only friend! You weren't the only one that lost her,Mahiro"

Sobs escaped your lips as you held your face in your hands. " I thought I was your friend...." He muttered as you looked at him " so did I" you were about to stand up and leave as he held your wrist. " I-I'm sorry, I just....miss her" " you're not the only one" he looked at the ground " I'm sorry, please stay"

You hesitantly sat down as he turned his head to you " don't cry.." He wiped your tears as a soft sob escaped your lips " I miss her, Mahiro and it hurts to know I won't ever hear her quote hamlet, the tempest or simply make fun of my stupid jokes" he hugged you from the side as you rested your head on his shoulder.

" Your jokes are stupid" he chuckled as you laughed lightly " wanna hear one?" He nodded as you cleared your throat " I'd tell you a chemistry joke but I'd get no reaction" he sat there for a moment as a soft laugh escaped his lips. " It is quite stupid" he muttered as you giggled.

" shut up" you muttered as a small smile appeared on your lips while he chuckled " Aika would've teased us about this, she would've said something like ' see there's one step from hate to love' or something like that"you chuckled knowing that's exactly what she would've done " she would've probably interrogated to see if we like each other" you muttered, imagining Aika interrogating both of you.
" well do you?" You faced him and stared into his red orbs " do I what?" You questioned as he sighed " do you like me?" Your cheeks flushed a slight pink as you pondered. Did you like him? Sure, you found him attractive just like most girls did but did you in fact love the boy in front of you?

You've always cared about him and at times you'd simply want to be around him despite the fact that he can be cocky and arrogant at times. You'd blush whenever he complimented you or when you'd be at a close distance.
Your eyes widened as you realized you y/n l/n loved Mahiro Fuwa.

He sighed " I guess that's a no" you quickly shook your head and snapped out of your trance " Mahiro, I don't like you...." He nodded " I guess I should've expected that" you chuckled " I love you" he furrowed his brows in confusion " nani?" A smile crept onto your lips " I don't like you.... I love you" his eyes widened as you giggled.

" I love you, Mahiro Fuwa"a grin formed onto his face as he caressed your cheek with his thumb " and I love you y/n l/n " he placed his lips on your as you melted into the kiss. Your lips moved in sync as he wiped any remaining tears of your face. He bit your lip as you gasped allowing him to slip in his tongue and deepen the kiss, once you stopped to get air ,you smiled at him.

" you're so beautiful" he muttered, making you blush. He smirked realizing how easily he could make you blush " you're so beautiful and you're all mine" you chuckled " that sounded cheesy" you muttered as he smiled " Aika so would've teased us about this, she would've been like ' I never expected Mahiro-kun to get a girlfriend seeing as he's a short tempered gorilla ' " you laughed, knowing those would be Aika's exact words. " well you can be short tempered and a pain in the ass at times" he pouted as your cheeks flushed realizing he'd called you his girlfriend " girlfriend ?" You muttered as he smirked and pulled you closer.

" I did say you were mine, didn't I?" Your cheeks flushed even more as he gave you a quick peck on the lips and stared at you,lovingly. Making your heart flutter. You gave him a warm smile and hugged him from the side. You placed your head in his shoulder as he smiled . " I love you Y/N L/N, please don't ever leave me"
