Blush (Suzuya Juuzou x reader)

You stared at the news, apparently another ghoul related death had occurred in 20th ward . You sigh as you drank your coffee . When it came to deciding which side were you on, whether on the humans or ghouls you never chose. You knew ghouls had to eat humans to survive yet you hated how some of them had fun while killing another living thing in this case... Humans. Yet despite this you weren't on the humans side either, humans killed animals despite the fact that they could live without them, they even hunted them for fun.  

To you they were both the same. You payed for the coffee as you said your goodbyes to Touka, your friend. You walked along the streets as you heard your other friend, Juuzou "Konbanwa ( good afternoon)y/n- chan" he beamed at you making you chuckle " Konbanwa Juuzou-kun" you ruffled his hair as he pouted " was that really necessary?" You smiled " hai!" He sighed as you laughed

" well considering the situation I am now obliged to do.... This" he tackled you as you fell onto the soft snow , you began giggling " Juuzou get your fatass off of me" you tried pushing him as he held a hand to his chest pretending to be offended.

" you're as cold as ice y/n-chan" he giggled at his pun, making you roll your eyes " really juuzou? Really?" He nodded as you tried pushing him off once more. " JUUZOU!" Despite this he wouldn't move making you sigh.

" you'll eventually have to stand up" he chuckled while ruffling your hair" jeje you still think you're going to stand up, silly child" you playfully swatted his hand as he caught yours with his. You blushed as he stared into your e/c orbs . He intertwined your fingers making you blush even more .

" why are you blushing ?" You looked away in embarrassment as he tilted your head back so you'd look at him " tell me" you sighed " Juuzou why do you want to know?" You stared at him waiting for an answer until he spoke " so I can make you blush more often... You look cute when you do" you blushed even more , Juuzou noticed and smiled " will you blush if I call you beautiful?" Your blush turned into an even deeper shade making him grin realizing he'd caused this .

" how about if I do this?" He kissed your forehead as you felt butterflies in every corner of your stomach. You looked away realizing that you probably looked like a tomato right now. "J-Juuzou... Stop" you knew that if he went on you would no longer be able to hide your feelings for him " why?" He tilted his head as you sighed " just cuz" you muttered .

" tell me " he demanded making you sigh once more , should you tell him? What if he'd simply reject you? " Juuzou I can't tell you why." He looked at you and rolled his eyes . " tell me " he demanded once again " I-I can'-" " tell me " he tilted your head so you'd look at him.

You stared at his red eyes, those red eyes you'd come to love. " I-I like you" you whispered looking away as you felt your cheeks heat up once again. You hoped he didn't hear you yet seeing your close proximity there was no way he couldn't have heard you.

" It's fine if you don't-" you were soon cut off by some lips crashing against your , you were surprised at first yet you kissed back and smiled throughout the kiss. Once you broke apart he cupped your cheek as he stroked it with his finger " you're mine" he said making you giggle and poke his nose " and you Juuzou-kun are mine and mine only" he smiled at your words and squeezed your hand gently.
