Kuudere! Illumi Zoldyck x reader

You swung your legs back and forth, patiently waiting for him in what you now considered your spot. You felt a breeze, yet you remained on the edge of the bridge, patiently waiting for the long haired man. No one knew how you and Illumi could sit on the edge of the bridge, the possibility of falling to your death always there.

By now it was almost as if you were used to being here, as if sitting on that bridge had become a daily routine. You heard footsteps and smiled slightly. You saw him sit from the corner of your eye, neither of you dared to be the first one to talk yet the silence wasn't uncomfortable like you expected it to.

However you were never too fond of silence so you decided to break it " how do you think the world used to be before?" He pondered over your question and cooly replied " I don't think it was all that different, humanity never changes. They've always ended up the same way despite the path they take" you nod, it made sense yet you still wish you would know how it felt like to live differently, to have things be different.

" you mean that you would've ended up an assassin either way?" You see a hint of anger in his eyes yet it disappears as quickly as it came. " I don't know it all depends" " on what?" He turned his head to look at you " what happend, maybe if things would've been different I wouldn't be an assassin but we can't change the past so here I am, as an assassin" he replies with the same poker face, showing no emotion whatsoever.

You sigh " how can you be so emotionless all the time? It's as if you don't even care about what's going on around you." You see a glint of sadness in his eyes along with hurt. " you think I'm emotionless?" You stare at him with curious eyes, had he not realized how emotionless he seemed, how it was as if he were a robot? " well you are, aren't you? I mean you don't really care about anything "

He shakes his head " I do care about one thing " you raise an eyebrow at him, questioningly " what thing?" The emotionless man wasn't as emotionless as you thought he was. "You" he cooly replies while looking into the distance. Your eyes widen while you stare at him, shocked. You were at loss for words, he cared about you? You felt a sudden pang of guilt for having thought the man you thought to have been cold as ice was selfish and cared about no one but himself. Yet somehow you'd fallen for the man you thought to be selfish, oh the irony.

" you don't have to care for me, I simply wanted to say that" you quickly shook your head " I know but I do care Illumi-kun, I always have and always will" your cheeks flushed while you saw what seemed like a smile appear on the not so emotionless man. " come here" you obeyed and scooted closer to the long haired man. He placed his arm around your shoulders while you leaned your head on his. " do you realize how long I've been wanting to tell you about this? I'm sorry if at times I seem 'emotionless' or as if I don't care but I do and I care a lot about you because.... Because I love you" you smiled and laced your fingers with his " I love you too Illumi-kun" he smiled and caressed your hand with his thumb. " I love you so much Y/N I don't even know how I fell for you this much. It's as if each time we spent together the more I warmed up to you and it scared me at first because I never have cared that much for someone and I was also scared someone would do something to you because of what I do for a living" you stared at him in awe, you couldn't believe the things this man said, you couldn't believe the 'emotionless' man cared for someone and you couldn't believe that, that someone was you.  He didn't just care for you, he loved you. He who you thought you had no chance with fell in love with you. The thought made your heart flutter " what does this make us? I'm not exactly an expert in these type of things" he replied nonchalantly, he may love you but he was still the man who'd shut his feelings from the world.  " well this makes us boyfriend and girlfriend " he nods but furrows his brows lightly " I thought we already were friends" you giggled but mentally face palmed at this. " It doesn't mean we're friends it means we're dating, silly" you playfully flick his forehead however he doesn't even flinch at this.You placed your head on his chest and smiled, despite the fact that he may not show it all the time, he definitely felt it, he definitely loved you. You felt your heart skip a beat at this, he felt nothing towards everyone and everything but you.

" so what do we do now?" You saw nervousness in his eyes yet he kept his stone cold expression. " well usually after that happens we're supposed to kiss..." You mutter making him nod " do you want to kiss?" You giggled while nodding and smiling at him. He places his lips on yours with the intention of pulling apart after 5 seconds yet once he kissed you, he didn't want to stop. Not in 5 , 10 or 100 seconds in fact he never wanted to let go. Your lips moved in sync while the not so emotionless man place his arms on your waist and pulled you closer to him, if that was even possible. You smiled throughout the kiss making him smile along the way. No one had ever seen him smile yet because of you he smiled not once or twice but three times today. The thought made you feel giddy and joyful inside.

Once you both let go he stared off into the distance and smiled once more while still holding your hand. " this is my favorite place" he muttered while you nodded " mine too" you smiled and  placed a short and loving kiss on his lips. " I change my answer, you are my favorite place" " if that's the case then you are my favorite everything " you giggled " fine you win, Kuudere" he raised an eyebrow at you " I am not a kuudere" "pfft yeah right.." You replied sarcastically while he rolled his eyes " fine maybe just a little" you raised an eyebrow at him "just a little more like the king of the kuuderes" he chuckled and nuzzled his head in the crook of your neck. " whatever ( insert personality type here)" you pouted " I am not ( insert personality type here)" he chuckled, making you feel the vibration throughout your neck "whatever you say ( insert personality type here) " you rolled your eyes and playfully smacked his shoulder " shut up, kuudere" he smiled " well this kuudere loves you to the moon and back" you smiled " and so does this (insert personality type here)"
