It has been 9 years since you and Jordan, have met and 9 years without your dad. You and Jordan are hanging out, celebrating your 9 year anniversary of your friendship. You both have a rose in your hands as you stop by your father's grave.
Aminta's POV
I stare down at my dad's grave. 9 years today huh? I felt a tear about to come down my cheek. I take Jordan's hand and look at him.
"Thank you. " He gives me a sad smile. We put our roses down at his grave as Jordan puts his arm around me as we walk out back to my house.
"So how's was your trip?" My mom asks as we walk in the door.
"It was good. I guess. " I give my mom a side smile as I continue to my room. Jordan follows me as he waved to my mom with a thumbs up.
"So... enough with the glum faces! This is a time to celebrate!" I say. I stand up on my bed like a superhero as I take off my black jacket and jump like superman (Superman got noooothin on meeee, I'm only One caaalll awaayy)(Srry couldn't help myself xD :D ). Jordan catches me as he spins me around.
"Guess you have your mood swings huh?" xD Jordan laughed. I glare at him as I get out of his arms. Or at least I attempted to.
"Hey, let me go!" He had me by the waist at least a couple inches from the ground.
"Nope! And see, mood swings. haha." Jordan laughs. I elbow him in the stomach as he lets me go.
"Oh geez, good one Minty." He says while he collapses onto the ground holding his stomach.
"Oh stop being such a drama queen. We got places to be yo." I say while I help him up.
"Oh yeah, speaking of that. I have some people I want you to meet. But where were you planning to go first?"
"Well its just the park, but we can go there anytime. So whose these people? I wanna know now!" I said feeling anxious. Jordan takes my hand as he leads me out of my house. As he pulled me along he said nothing, but had this huge, stupid smile on his face. At first he brought me to his house.
"Hello May. How are you?" I ask Jordan's Mom. She smiles at me and replies.
"I'm just fine sweetheart. How is your day so far? You know Jordan has been planning this day for WEEKS now and-"
"Alright mom! That's enough now. Please make sure Jennifer knows we'll be out for the night. Might not be back till mornin for most. Soooo yea luv ya BYE NOW!" He then rushes to his room and grabs this backpack and pulls me out the door.
"It was nice seeing you May!" I say as I get pulled out the door. "Jordan where are you taking me!?"
"Its a surprise, and when your around these people , call me Glitch kay?" I begin to laugh but quickly catch my breath as he starts to glare at me. I try my hardest not to laugh.
"Ok ok, I'll stop, I'll stop. " I giggled.
"Good. So off we go." He says. He leads me to the surprise place without another word. He pulls me onto a subway train with all these people he began to greet in a bro type way. You know how bros hug.
