Chapter 12: Meet the parent pt.3

Aminta's POV

Omg I can't believe this is happening. Glitch is my fake boyfriend. I never wanted it to be this way! I never wanted to kiss him like THIS! I'm a hot mess right now! What was I thinking?!!!! 

"So where are we gonna do it?" Crista asks.

"Uh, we could go outside where there's more space, or we could play in here as long as we move the table and chairs around. " 

"In here is way better than the wet grass, let's do it in here!" Crista says. I nod my head and slap on a fake smile as I begin to move the table, with Glitch's help. In a matter of minutes everyone was sitting in a circle on the ground. Glitch grabbed a glass bottle of coke-a-cola that was empty (because he shared it with me :D) and put it towards the middle of the circle.

"Does everyone know how to play this game?" Glitch asks.

"Duhh. But wait a second, you and Aminta have been closer lately. Is something going on between you two?" A girl named Jessica asks. I remember when Glitch had such a big crush on her and I bet he still does.

"uhm...." He hesitated, looking at me, before smiling and grabbing my hand looking back to her, " Actually, yeah, I've been dating her , for a couple months now."

"What are you doing?" I whisper to him.

"Making everyone believe it." He smiled and winked at me. The wink sent a shot of chills through my body. I smiled back.   

"Ahh. I see. well, let me talk with Minty for a sec do ya mind?" Jessica got up and pulled me to the side, while everyone was still talking. "Have you kissed him yet?"

"What? No. not yet anyways. "

"Well word of advice, if you do want to kiss him, which you do right? Oh who my kidding, of course you do, sit across from him. Like on the opposite side of the circle. Just saying. " She then walked over to my old spot and sat down. I sighed as I walked over to the other side of the circle. Well it probably isn't even as bad as I think. I mean, what are the odds that the bottle would land on me and Glitch?

"Okay let's play!" I cheered, fakely .

OMG! I am so tired right now, like legit I can barely function right now. Luckily , Me and Glitch didn't get picked. Phew. But im like 3 seconds away from passing out on his couch. it is legit 3:30 am and the last people just left. We all yawned. 

"Hey Minty, wanna stay the night hun?" May asked me. 

"Okay. I'll just sleep in Glitch's room. " I yawn again and walk over to May. 

"Alright sweetie. Don't stay up another minute. " She hugs me and kisses my head, just like my mom used to . Its very comforting. I give her a tired smile and start trudging up the stairs to Glitch's room. I open his door to find him changing into his pajama's. 

"Hey. " He says pulling on his shirt. I waved a little . "tired?" He chuckled the slightest bit. 

"Yeah." I yawned.I plopped myself onto his bed and curled up. He came and layed down in the bed. He then kissed my forehead. 

"Thanks for everything today Minty." 

"Any time G." I begin to doze as he turns off the light. wow. who knew that darkness was so nice. I could feel his body heat against me as I was dozing which just comforted me more. I really just gotta love him. He cuddles me like a teddy bear. I get out of my doze and turn towards him. My eyes still closed. He pulls me in closer and holds me tighter. I begin to feel my cheeks burning up. But this set it off.
