chapter 30

*Laura's P.O.V.*

I opened my eyes and saw Luke sleeping. I smiled. I slipped out of his grip and walked to the bathroom. I closed the door and brushed my teeth. I brushed my hair real quick and walked out. I went to my closet and got some black skinny jeans and a purple shirt. I walked into the bathroom and changed. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Luke sat at the end of the bed looking at his phone. I sat next to him and he smiled at me.

"Morning babe," he said and kissed my cheek.

"Morning," I said and smiled.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Um-" he looked at his phone "-8:49"

"Ok thanks Calums coming over at 9," I said excited.

He chuckled. "Alright well I'll let you guys catch up," he said and stood up.

"Goodbye Luke"

"Goodbye Laura. I love you "

"I love you too" he kissed my gently and left. I lay back down on my bed.

I'm so confused. I know I said I loved Luke and I do I really do, but I still kinda like Calum. I never got over him. Ugh! I'm pretty sure he's over me so Im doing the same.

I got up and walked downstairs and threw myself on the couch. Me stomach grumbled. Really?! I just sat down. I groaned and got up walking to the kitchen. Im too lazy to make some eggs so I settled for cereal.

I sat at the table looking at the wall thinking. I hope our friendship didn't end because we were together. He was always like a brother and now its time to forget we were together and go back as friends.

Theres a knock on the door. I got up and opened the door to find Calum smiling. He was wearing a black shirt and some jeans. He really got more fit.

"Goodmoring," I said and smiled.

"Morning," he said.

"Come in," I said and opened the door wider so he could come in. He walked in and sat on the couch. Just like old times. I laughed at the memories.

"Why are you laughing," he said confused.

"Always making yourself at home," I said and sat next to him. With a some distance of course. He smiled. His dimples showing. Omg his dimples!!!!

"Omg your dimples!!!!" I said and poked them and laughed. He laughed.

"I hate them," he grumbled.

"What?! How can you not like your dimples?!?!"

"I just hate them," he says. 

I roll my eyes.

"Did you just roll your eyes at me?!" he said.

"Pfft noooooo" I said and laughed. 

It was just like old times.

He laughed. "How you been?" he asked.

"Good. And you?" I asked.

"Alright. I really missed my best friend you know?" he said.

"Same here," I said and smiled.

"Now tell me everything I missed NOW!" I and crossed my legs and face him.

"You didn't miss much. Um well me and Lily became close friends. Alicia was always a peach," he said and I laughed when he said peach.

"Um I graduated in honors," he said proudly.

"Well I guess the Math Master is retired," I said and laughed. He laughed.

" I graduated in honors too," I said.

"What about you?" he aksed .

"Um when I came here I was really depressed. I really missed you and Luke was my neighbor and they invited us for dinner and Luke and i became friends. He supported me and made me feel better. The second year i felt a little better and made some friends. Meaning Ashton and Michael. And Luke asked me out that yeat and we've been together since. The two othe years were more fun," i said.

He had a hurt expression. Why?

"Whats wrong?" i asked.

"I-I just thought when i came here we would be togther again,"  he said. What? Wait wait wait does he still like me?

"What?" i asked, confused. 

"As bestfriends. But you've replaced me with Michael and Ashton," he quickly added. Phew! For a second there i got scared.

"Oh Calum. No one could ever replace youuuuuu!" i teased,

"Haha funny," he said sarcasrically.

"Im kidding but no really no one could ever replace you. You will always be my bestfriend. We could all hang out together and we could all be bestfriends!" i said exictedly.

"Maybe one day, but i want to spend time with you right now. We need to catch up on all the fun we missed," he said and jumped up and down. I laughed.

"Ok lets do something!" i said and got up.

"Wellll you've lived here longer. Show me around," he said and smiled.

"OK! Lets go to the park," i said. Yay! Ive missed and him and his playful side. 

*Calum's P.O.V."

3 years?! Wow just wow. I didnt think they would be togther that long. i missed 4 years of her life. I know it hurts to admit it, but i can tell she lovves Luke and its obvious he loves her. He will never treat her the way i would have. Never love her like me. Never know her as much as i do or did. I was going to tell her i still loved her, but then she told me about Luke. I just couldn't. I will always love her and when Luke brakes her heart i will always be here. I will act as if nothing is wrong with me, when I'm actully dieing to feel her lips on mine. I will be her bestfriend cause sadly right now i cant go farther with her. I'm just glad i can be with her and make her smile and laugh.
