I Miss You (a Calum Hood fanfic)

Chapter 42

*Laura's P.O.V.*

I slowly opened my eyes, but closed them immediately, the bright light blinding me. I blinked until my eyes adjusted to the bright light. I felt an arm around my waist and i tensed. I looked up to find Calum sleeping peacefully. I sighed and smiled. I gently pulled his arm from me, trying my best not to wake him up. I swung my legs on the side of my bed and rubbed my eyes. I sat up and stretched, walking downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and decided to cook breakfast for Calum and I. I grabbed the pancake mix from the shelf and started gathering the other ingredients needed to make pancakes. After mixing all the ingredients i poured it into the pan. I softly sang 'Addicted to you by Shakira'. Yeah i listen to Shakira, problem?

I finished making enough pancakes for me and Calum. I made some for my mom just in case she wanted some before she left to work. She's working another late shift again. *sigh* I barely see her, but its her work, what can i do?

I placed the pancakes on two seperate plates and began to walk upstairs, while holding the syrup under my arm. I slowly opened door with my foot and Calum was still sleeping. I glanced at the clock on top of my drawer it was 12:30 p.m. Lazy potato. (Only me haha)

I put the plates and the syrup on my desk and sat on the edge of the bed.

"Calum," i nudged him, nothing.

"Calum, babe wake up," i nudged him again and he groaned softly.

"Calum," i said and bit louder he groaned loudly and rolled over, facing away form me. Ugh. Then i got an idea. I climbed on the bed and pressed my lips on his, he kissed back smirking. Oh that cheeky bastard. I pulled back.

"Morning," i whispered looking into his eyes.

"Goodmorning," he smiled and pecked my lips.

"I made you breakfast or lunch, whatever you want to call it," i said and giggled.

He smiled," You made me breakfast?"

"Yes, and here you go. I made your favorite, chocolate chip pancakes," i said and smiled, while him the plate and the syrup. I grabbed my plate and began eating. I then heard Calum moan when he tasted my pancakes.

"This is so good," he said with his mouth full, making his cheeks look big. I giggled.

"Thanks Cal," I said and started eating my pancakes.

"So what do you want to do today?" I asked.

"Um I don't know," he said. He eyes then lit up and he grinned.

"I gotta go. I'll see you later," he said. He kissed my cheek and left. Well, he's in a rush. I wonder what he has to do.

I picked up our plates and walked downstairs to the kitchen. I washed my plates and I decided to go for a run. I changed into some shorts and a t-shirt. I grabbed my keys and some money and walked out the door. 

I ran down my street, heading towards the park. The sun shining bright in the sky; its a beautiful day. I ran a couple laps around the park and then decided to walk to a store to buy some water. I passed by the   children playing in the playground and the basketball courts full of sweaty men. I smiled. Its feels good to go for a walk and just observe your surroundings. 

I walk into a small grocery store and I'm greeted by the air-conditioning. Ahh that feels good. I walk to the back of the store towards the fridges. I grab a water bottle and put it on the counter. 

*Beep*

"That'll be $1.99," the bored looking girl said.I handed her a $5 dollar bill and she gave me my change. 

"Thank you," i said with a smile and left. I walked down my street and i saw a girl walking her dog. It was a husky. Oh my gosh i love huskies.

"He's so adorable," i said and smiled at the girl who looked strangly familiar.

"Thank you. You can pet him if you want. He's very friendly," she said and smiled. I know her from somewhere... I pet the dogs head and he licked my hand causeing me to giggle.

"Whats his name?" i asked, still petting the dogs head.

"Rocky," she said eyeing me strangly.

"Thats such a cute name," i said.

"haha yeah my brother named him. Hey, do i know you? You look familiar," she said and her eyebrows furrowed trying to remember. 

"I dont know, but you look familiar," i said and tried to remember. Then it hit me.

"E-Elena?!"

LOL I told you SUSPENCE. Right? Am i right?! Lol. So how ya guys been? I hope its good. :)  Well, as all my friends know i have a new obsession... I like trains... 0.0 Thomas is my favorite train and yes i'm talking about Thomas from Thomas and Friends. ITS LIKE THE BEST SHOW EVER!!!!! You guys should watch it ;) haha sorrry! You guys know me always in a weird mood. :D
