Chapter 43

*Laura's P.O.V.*

"E-Elena?!" I said, clearly surprised. Right in front of me was my best friend from elementary, well, old best friend. How do i remember her? She has the rarest eyes. They're a mix of blue and green, making them a beautiful combination. She moved away before we went to middle school. I cant believe she's here.

"I t-thought you moved!" i said and I engulfed her into a hug.

"I moved here. I can't believe your here. I've missed you," she whispered. I pulled back and smiled.

"We have so much to catch up too! Omg! Is Calum here too?" she asked.

"Yes," i smiled, knowing Calum would be happy to see her. We were all bestfriends. Oh, the memories.

"Really?! I missed you guys so much. And look at you, you've grown so much!" she exclaimed with tears forming on the corner of her eyes.

"You too! It seems like just yesterday we were 8 and living la vida loca!" I said and giggled.

"Haha I can't believe you still remember my favorite song!" she said with a big smile. I bet mine was just as wide as hers.

"How could i not? Its a good song." i chuckled.

"How you been?" she asked.

"I've been good. What about you?" i asked with a smile. We have so much to catch up to it isn't even funny.

"Great!" she exclaimed.

"Wanna go see Calum?" I asked with a smirk.

"Omg! Can we?!" she begged. I laughed and nodded.

"Yeah come on," I said.

"Wait, can we go to my house first? I have to leave Rocky there." she said, apologetically.

"Yeah let's go," I said and Rocky.

We starting walking to her house, talking on the way. She's Salvadoran and she speaks Spanish, obviously. I really liked her because she was really different from my other friends and i like different. She told me that she has a little brother now and his name is Logan and he's 8. I can't wait to meet him. I wonder if her parents will remeber me.

"We're here!" she exclaims and opens her arms towards her house. It looked like a really cozy house. I smiled. She opens the door and i'm greeted with the smell of salsa. Oh, gosh i havent smelled that in a while.

"Mami ya llege!" she said in spanish. (Mom I'm home) I took spanish in Highschool so i understand her.

"Elena! Estoy in la cocina!" her mom exclaimed from the kitchen.(Elena! I'm in the kitchen)

We walked into the kitchen and I found her mom making spaghetti. Elena walked up to her mom, giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"Oh perdón no te vi allí. Yo soy la mama de Elena. Y usted es?" her Mom asked. (Oh sorry. I didn't see you there. I'm Elena's mom. And you are?)

"Me llamo Laura. Soy la amiga de Elena," I said with a smile and held out my hand. (My names Laura and I'm Elena's friend) Haha Spanish was worth it.

She smiled. "I like her" Wow she speaks English. Elena laughed.

"Yes Laura she speaks English," Elena giggled.

"Oh," I said and looked down at my feet in embarrassment.

"It's ok. Are you staying for dinner?" her mom kindly asked. I looked at Elena.

"Um no mom I'm going to Laura's. Is that alright?" She asked.

"It's fine. I'll see you another time?" her mom asked. I nodded and we left after that. Her mom was so nice.

*At Laura's house*

"Okay, so this is my place," i said to Elena with a smile.

"Its a really nice house," she complimented.

"Thanks," i smiled and opened the door to my house. I stepped inside and let her come in. She looked around and chuckled.

"You still have the creepy doll?" she said while pointing at my doll, Anne, with a smirk.

"Yes," I said and felt my cheeks heat up. She laughed.

"Well...uhm... im going to go call Calum. You can watch tv or something," i said, still embarrassed about the doll. Hey, I love that doll.

"Ok," she said and sat down on the couch, turning on the tv.

I took my phone out from my pocket and searched Calums name. I pressed on the one that said "Cal <3" I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge to get some water.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"Hello?" his raspy voice said.

"Hey babe," i said and smiled even though he couldn't see me. Just his voice makes me smile.

"Oh, hey whats up?" he said and he seemed to be doing something.

"I have someone i want you to meet," i said, excitedly. He stopped doing whatever he was doing.

"Who?" he asked.

"Someone. Just come to my house and you'll see," i said and with a wide grin.

"Okay... I'll be over in 5 mins i have to do something real quick," he said.

"Alright. I'll see you in a bit. Bye I love you," i said.

"I love you too, bye!" he said and hung up. Ahhh i cant wait until he sees her!

Hey guyyyyyyys! I l know its short as hell, but i've been doing alot of writing for an English paper and its really tiring me out. Ugh. Anyway! I'll try to update as soon as i finish that damn paper byyyyye!
