Laura's P.O.V.

I cant believe what just happend. I didnt mean to hurt him. I just,cant. It's too much. He's my best friend and I just can't do that. I can't ruin our friendship with a relationship.

But it hurt him I didn't mean to.

He hates me and its all my fault.

I have to talk to him better i have to explain. I'mgoing to his house right now. I get up from the couch wip my eyes and head to his house.

Its really cold out but i dont care i need to talk to him. I look at his window and he's crying in his moms arms.

"Mom im so stupid. i cant believe she hurt me that way," he said.

"Calum she probably had her reasons. Did you let her explain?," she said.

"No but i dont want to hear excuses," he said.

"Calum you have to let her explain. When your better. You have such a strong friendship. You cant let this brake you apart," she said.

"Your right mom this cant ruin our friendship," he said wiping his tears away. She smiled and she kissed her forhead. "Goodnight. I love you. Thanks mom," he said and went upstairs. I walked back home. Seeing him cry hurts me. Ive never seen him cry like that and it was all my fault.

I enter and go to my room and sleep.

I wake up to my alarm and change not even bothering to take a shower.

I go downstairs and eat some cereal. My mom works late all week so shes sleeping in. I finish my cereal and wash my plate. I head for the door when i hear a knock. I open my door to reveal Calum.

"Calum?" I say confused.

"Hey im so sorry about yesterday. Its just-" he says before i interrupt him by giving him a hug.

" Im so sorry," i say.

"Its ok. Im sure you had your reasons" he said hugging back.

" its just i cant let something like that ruin our friendship," i say.

"but it wont, please i really like you and i just want to make you happy,"he says while he looks at the floor.

I sigh. "You'll find someone better, " i say. "i dont want anyone else i like you," he says.

"Calum, please i just want to be your bestfriend," i say looking into his eyes.

He sighs. "fine if thats what you want i'll respect it," he said and smiled.

"Thank you, now lets get to school," i say and lock the door behind me.

"Soooo whats your elective?" He asks.

"Chorus," i said and smiled.

" i didnt know you sang," he said and smiled at me.

"well i do, whats yours?" I said and changed the subject so he wouldnt make me sing in front of him.

" Guitar now sing something," he said.

" i didnt know you played guitar," i said trying to avoid me singing.

"Stop trying to change the subject," he said.

"oh look we're gonna be late for class," i said and ran to my classroom.

" Fine but i will hear you sing," he said and sat next to me and the bell rang.
