chapter 31

*Laura's P.O.V.*

We walked out of the house and started walking down the street. 

"Where are we going again?" he asked.

" The park its a really nice park,' i said. 

"Is it far? I dont want to walk to far," he whined. 

"I promise its not far just a block away," i said.

"Ugh a block is too far," he whined.

"Stop whining we're almost there," i said and rolled my eyes. This boy still a lazy butt. 

"Are we there yet?" 

"No,"

Five seconds later.

"Are we there yet?" he said and smiled knowing he was starting to annoy me.

"No," i said.

I could see the park coming into view and i smiled.

"Are we there y-" 

"Yes," i said as looked at the park and he turned his head the same way. We walked through the entrance and you could already hear the little kids screaming and laughing. I laughed and Calum chuckled.

"I want to show something," i said and grabbed his hand, ignoring the tingles all over my arm and pulled him towards a low tree that was easy to climb and you could sit down on the branch. I put my foot on the a little bump and hugged the tree and pulled myself up and i sat down on the branch. 

"What are you doing up there?" he asked.

"Come up," i told him. He climbed the tree and sat down next to me. We stayed quiet for a while.

"Is this what you wanted to show me?" he said softly.

"Yeah i use to come here all the time when i missed you. I use to sit on this tree and cry," i said softly and looked at him.

"You meant so much to me and you still do. It was hard not being able to see you," i said and my eyes started tearing up. 

"I missed you too Laura," he said softly and hugged me. I hugged back hiding my face on his chest, crying on his shirt.

"Dont cry. Please dont cry. I'm here now and im not going anywhere," he whispered and stroked my hair trying to stop me from crying. 

"I still cant believe your here," i said and let him go, looking at him. 

"Me ether," he whispered. He grabbed my hand and held it tight. I squeezed it back. I hugged him again not wanting to let go. He held me tight putting his head on my shoulder and my face on his chest. We held each other for a while. He pulled back and i go looked into his eyes. His eyes i forgot how beautiful they were up close. He starts leaning. Wait no no no. Calum i have a boyfriend. Instead of kissing my lips he kissed my cheek. I was relived and disappointed at the same time. Yes i love Luke but a part of me still loves Calum. He's over me though. 

I smile. He smiles. He's still holding my hand. I slip slowly from his grip. 

"I've always liked it here. Its very comfortable," i said softly.

"Have you brought Luke here?" he asked softly. 

"No. I always came alone," i said and smiled. He smiled. 

We talked for hours on the tree about everything we missed. Throwing a couple jokes and laughing. I've missed this. I really have. I'm glad i have him as a friend. But im a little disappointed that we cant be more. I have Luke I know. He's been amazing, but it doesn't feel right. But with Calum it does.

HI! I'm sorry i havent updated in 4 days. I've just had a bunch of things on my mind and i havent had an idea. sorries.  Also about the cover umm well tht i was being an idiot and i sorta erased it.
