*Calum's P.O.V.*

I knew what my mom said was true. I cant let this brake up our friendship. If i cant be her boyfriend, im at least her bestfriend. Its going to take me a while for me to get over her, but eventully. But I dont want to get over her. Shes so...perfect and amazing its not going to be possible. But if thats what she wants then im happy. Well sort of. Ive been thinking about this in class im not even paying attention. I should though.

"Calum!" Ms. Edwards yelled.

"Yes?" i said nervously.

"I asked you for your homework," she said.

"Oh yeah its in my backpack," i said and take it out and handed it to her smiling.

"Thank you," she said and collected the others homework.

I heard giggling. I looked at Laura who was laughing.

"What?" i said.

"Nothing," she said and looked at the board trying not to laugh.

"What? tell me," i whined.

"Nothing," she said and wrote something down on a piece of paper.

"Fine then be that way," i said and looked at the board.

*BEEEEEEEEEEEP*

"Class dismissed," Ms. Edwards said.

Everyone ran out of the classroom. I took my time. I accidentally dropped my pencil and when i got up i bumped my head with someone. 

"Ow, sorry," i said and looked at the person better.

"Its ok," she said.

She was pretty, but nothing compared to Laura.

"Im Calum," i said and held out my hand.

"Lily," she said and shook my hand.

"Umm did you understand the lesson becuase i didnt," she said then giggled.

"Yeah it wasnt very complicated," i said and continued to put my things away.

"If you want i can help you?" i said and turned to face her and smiled.

"Umm no i dont want to cause trouble," she said and shook her head.

"No its not. I'd love to help," i said and smiled.

She blushed and said," Alright sure," 

"Umm if you want you can come over after school and I'll help you," i said as we walked out of the classroom.

"Yeah sure. I'll call my mom and tell her. Im coming over," she said and smiled.

"Yeah so after school in the entrance?" i said.

"Ok, see ya," she waved and went another direction. She seemed nice. Yay. A new friend at a new school. I wonder where Laura is? Hmm oh well. I went to the field to play some soccer with some people.

I was goalie and the ball was on the other side of where i am so i dont think i will have to block anything for a while. I looked around to see Laura with Alicia. They were laughing and sat down on the grass and just talked. I smiled. 

"Calum!" someone yelled and my instincts kicked in and i blocked the ball with out thinking.
