Surprise Date

After 20 minutes Jack stopped the car at a wood down in Maidstone. We had parked by the field which we had to walk to to get to the woods. The walk would only be about 5 minutes. We got out the car and I looked around at the gorgeous view. And when I turned back to Jack he was standing by the car getting out a hamper and a picnic blanket. 'A picnic?' I asked intrigued, 'I like!' I said with a smile as I followed him down a path through the fields into the woods. Well, I recjon this should be interesting I thought to myself as we joined another path down to a clearing. It was absolutely beautiful! The trees all around with vines connecting them. Then a stream with waters flowing downstream peacefully and quietly. I looked around and it felt magical! Picture perfect! I looked at Jack and gave him a huge hug! I sat down on the blanket he had set out and helped him get out the plates and food. We sat there talking about life joking around with each other. I felt so happy just to be here with him right now! We ate cake, apple crumble, and basically just snacked out and then we packed everything up, left it in the car and went on a lovely, romantic stroll through the woods along a woodland path. We spoke about our lives, and then we found a bench and just sat down. I lay on his lap and just stared up into his eyes, 'I leave in 3 days,' he said matter-of-factly. 'Well then,' I replied, 'we bet not waste this time together then,' he bent down and kissed me, his lips were soft and gentle but still warm, I embraced it as I took my lips off of his and relaxed on his lap once again and I fell into a deep sleep. The next thin I know, I'm waking up in my house, in my room, in my bed. I sit up and notice that I'm covered in a blanket, I recognised the crosses on it, it was the picnic blanket that we sat on. I smiled at the thought as I lay back down on the bed thinking of all the previous events of the day. Oh My God! I suddenly remembered! We kissed! And so, now too excited to sleep. I got up as went downstairs to see Livi, assuming that she was home and had let Jack in! 'Hey,' Livi said as she looked up from her phone, 'How was the date?'
