Tania fell asleep almost instantly. After two weeks of dreams and waking in the middle of the night, unable to fall back asleep, Tania was exhausted.

The dream came again, the same as usual. "Tania, my young child." A powerful voice thundered in her head. Tania looked around, it was dark, she couldn't see anything. "Listen, child, you have a purpose, you must follow your destiny," the voice said. "Use your powers."

"But what is that?!" Tania called trying to see something. "What does that mean?! Who are you?!"

Her voice echoed, into the darkness. "Follow your destiny..." The voice whispered.
Tania gasped, sitting up straight. She looked around the room, before laying back down.

What does that mean, follow your destiny?! Use your powers? Am I going insane?! Tania thought to herself. Tania's mind wouldn't shut off, and she couldn't fall back asleep. What was happening to her?

The sun rose and Tania climbed out of bed. She quickly dressed running down the stairs. Tania had been up for hours, just unable to sleep. Tania thought about the dream, thought about Jay, and Mom, thought about Dad and his death.

Tania sat the table, her head pounded slightly. She ate an apple, while looking out the window. Logan thunderer down the stairs as he always did. "Can't you be quieter!" Tania snapped.

Logan paused at the end of the stairs. "Ah... Sorry," He said, but made it sounded like a question.

Marita came down the stairs just as loud, Tania stood up, and quickly walked out of the house. Tania could hear Marita ask, what was wrong with her, before door slammed shut.

Tania walked off into the forest, ripping her bow out of her quiver, stringing it and continued walking. After hunting for a few hours Tania finally went home. Empty handed.

Tania had several chances to shoot, but each time she missed. Tania hardly ever missed, she didn't know what was wrong with her.

Tania's hands shook and she was so tired, but that was no excuse. What if she was attacked? She needed to be able to fight.

Tania walked into the house, hanging her bag in the wall, and throwing her quiver and bow on the table. "Tania?" Someone asked behind her.

Glancing behind her, Tania saw Charles walk into the room. "What?!" Tania snapped, rubbing her face. She really didn't want to deal with this right now.

"Are you ok?" He asked, hesitantly.

"Fine. Leave me alone." Tania said harshly.

Charles retreated for a second, but paused turning back around. Charles walked up to Tania, putting a hand on her chair. "Get up."

"What? Leave me alone!" Tania snapped.

"Come on, you're going to bed. You obviously need it," Charles said grabbing her arm.

Tania stood, not even fighting, even though part of her wanted to. Charles led her to the stairs.

"As your father," Charles raised his hand when Tania tried object, "not a very good father, but still a father, you will go upstairs and sleep."

Tania sighed and walked up a few stairs before turning around and looking into his green eyes. Green eyes almost exactly like hers. "Thanks."
