The Darkness

Chapter 26

Logan blinked, she could see in The Darkness.

Logan's worries that she would leave him sky rocked. Of course he wanted her to be happy, that's why he made the meeting, but he had thought that maybe her being fully human might keep her from going back to the werewolves.

Tania grinned looking between Sam and Jacob excitedly. Both of them seemed over joyed. "I-I, what does this mean?!" Tania asked. Tania turned to Logan, looking at him curiously. "You explained that you took me to the Dragons, right?"

Logan nervously cleared his throat, hoping beyond hope that this would work in his favor. That he wouldn't lose his sister again. "Ah... Yeah, yeah we did."

"What?" Sam asked turning to look between Jacob, Logan, and Tania. "You said that she would look different, but you wouldn't explain why, is this why?" Sam asked.

Jacob looked at Sam, sourly. "Yes, that is exactly why, and because I knew you would freak out."

Sam huffed and crossed his arm. "I'm so not freaking out," Sam said in girly, girl voice.

Tania slams his arm, then turns to Jacob. "In the legends it says that Dragons would contact us through dreams, right?"

"Ah... Yeah, why? Have you been having dreams?" Jacob asked confused.

Tania nodded, making Logan look at her. "Why didn't you tell me that?!"

Tania glanced at him. "Because I just thought they were dreams."

Logan opened his mouth to say something, but Jacob cut him off. "What were the dreams about?"

Tania explained that they were telling her to follow her destiny. That she had a power(s) that she needed to use. "What if being able to see in The Darkness is part of my powers?" Tania finished.

Sam was grinning, for what reason Logan didn't know. Jacob on the other hand had a calculating face on and Logan was plainly just confused.

"My best friend has super powers given to her by the Almighty Dragons!" Sam exclaimed. "Wow!"

"Samuel, not now!" Jacob snapped, shaking his head. Sam's smile slipped from his face slightly.

"What's your problem, man?" Sam asked, confused.

Before Jacob could answer Tania interrupted. "Yeah, man, what's your deal?"

"Tania?!" Jacob gasped, apparently Tania didn't often talk to him like that.

"No, don't Tania me! You left me! You gave me away, because you wanted to 'protect me?!' Well I'll tell you what! I don't need protecting! I can take care of myself!" She yelled.

Logan watched carefully, he hoped this didn't get physical because he wasn't sure who's side Sam would take. Also unsure which side he would take, not that he could do much good.

"Tania, please," Jacob tried.

"No, look I wasn't planning on flipping out on you. Especially with Logan and Sammy here, but I can't believe you would do that to me. My own brother gave me away!" Tania shouted at his face.  "At least Logan didn't have a choice in the matter!"

Wow, she just brought Logan into this. Logan glanced at Sam, but he obviously wasn't going to intervene. Tania kept going yelling at Jacob, calling him names. Jacob just kept taking the abuse, not saying anything.
