Tania stayed out all night. She hunted her pain and anger out. When the moon started to go down in the sky, Tania slowly crept home.
She opened the door, banging it on the wall. Tania dropped her sack of game on the table walking over to the counter. Jay walked in behind her, crossing his arms.
Turning around, Tania saw Jay, and the man, named Logan, waddled in behind him. "Morning," Tania greeted them.
"Where were you last night?!" Jay asked.
Tania raised an eyebrow. "Like you care," she snorted.
"Of course I care! Tania what has gotten into you?!" Jay demanded.
Tania stocked closer to them. "I don't know, why don't you ask your new best friend?" She growled, before climbing the stairs. At the top she yelled down. "I got us some breakfast, just so you know!!" She paused. "Your welcome!!" Then slammed the door.

Tania pulled her hair back into a tight braid. Finishing, she looked in the mirror, her scar shown slightly in the dim light.
Tania rubbed it, gently, then bent down and rolled up her pant leg. She slid her hand down the long scar. Tania was just about to roll her pant leg down when the door opened.
"Get out! I don't want to talk to you, Jay!" Tania shouted.
"Actually it's me, Logan," Logan said hesitantly, opening the door further.
He stopped staring wide eyed. Confused Tania looked at what he's staring at. Her scar glistening the dim light. Logan's eyes flicked up to her forehead, seeing that scar too. "My G-"
"Get out!" Tania shouted, interrupting him.
"But-" Logan fell backward a flying dagger towards him cut off his sentence. "Ok! Ok! I'm going!" He shouted, closing the door as fast as he could, with being injured and all.
Tania sighed, how could this have happened to her?! She rolled down her pant leg.

Tania laid on her bed, staring at the ceiling. A knock made her glance toward the doorway. Seeing Jay, Tania rolled over and buried her face into her pillow. "Go away!"
Jay sighed, but walked over and sat on the edge of her bed. "Look, I'm sorry, ok?" Jay said softly.
"Why? It wasn't your fault Dad died," Tania said, still not looking at him.
"No, but it wasn't that human's fault either," Jay told her.
Tania rolled over and looked at Jay. "I know," she sighed, "I know, it's just-" she paused, "I miss him so much and we weren't even that close!"
Jay sighed and scooted closer, laying down next to her. "I know, I miss him too. But Tania this has got to stop! I can't handle it!"
Shame filled Tania, she shouldn't have been acting like such a brat. "I-I'm sorry, I was just caught up in the moment. I didn't think about how you felt. All I felt was like you didn't care anymore."
"Tania!" Jay gasped, sitting up and looking at her. "How-"
"No, no, I know, but it was just how I felt. I know it's not true, but an ugly voice in my head kept saying that."
Jay sighed and laid back down. Tania leaned into his side, taking in all the comfort she could from her brother's presence.
"So, how does co-running the pack going?" Tania asked.
Jay groaned and rubbed his face, causing Tania to giggle. "It's complicated. Mom wants one thing, I want another, the pack wants war, but then they want peace."
