(Y/N's) POV

"WAAAAH!" I catched my breath again as I woke up this morning.

I dreamt again about the incident 7 years ago.... on how my parents bloodily murdered.

"Y/N are you ok?" I look at the door, and it was Lorrie, looking very concerned.

"It seems you got again the same nightmare you always had." she added, then I nodded.

"Ok. Better get up. The breakfast is ready, so fix yourself young lady."

"Arigato, Lorrie-san!" I ran to her and hugged her.

"Thank you for everything Lorrie-san. I love you very much." I added.

She hugged me back so tightly. "Ok! Enough for this, before we both ended up crying", and we laughed.

Lorrie-san was the who saw me after the incident back when I was 6 years old, then she kept me in her house, raised me as her own daughter.

Lorrie-san is now 30 years old and living with her mother. She don't have a kids. Not married, and even no boyfriend. But she's so beautiful. She has a suitor before, but she turned him down. 😁

Lorrie-san treated me as her daughter, and I treated her as my mother and Doris-san, Lorrie's mother, as my grandmother, and that makes up as one family.

"Y/N? You're spacing out. Are you ok? Did you still think of that nightmare?" Lorrie said.

"Uhm.. Not really, but Lorrie-san, Doris-san?...... Uhm...How can I say this?....." I paused and look at them.

I took a deep breath and began. "Can I take the hunter exam for this year?" They're both very shocked of what I said.

Hmm? Oh! I hope they would allow me.

"Pretty. Pretty Please Lorrie-san? Doris-san? Please allow me. Please." I make a puppy eye on them.

"You know that I've waited this year. I've been training so hard for this. So Please?" I plead.

"Ok." Lorrie-san said.

"Yehe--" I was cutted by Lorrie-san. "On one condition. Just promise me to stay alive. Don't get hurt yourself too much. This isn't a joke. You will be dealing with some established people in this exam. So can you promise that to us?"

"Yes! I promise! As I jump out of my seat and hug both of them. Geez! I've been waiting for this. I want to become licensed hunter so I can have a revenge for the death of my family. Yes! All of this is to have a revenge for them. They've ruined my life.

So after the breakfast we had, I ran up and headed on my room to pack my things and getting ready for this year's hunter exam. I will be leaving tomorrow morning. I am so excited!

I am now a 12 years old, and at this age, I've been in a hard training and successfully mastered the nen techniques. It is because of the cousin of Lorrie-san, who is also a hunter. He is my master. He even said that I shouldn't reveal my nen ability during the hunter exam. Oh! by the way I am a Specialist.

Morning comes and I have to say goodbye to my family that I used to live with.

I am very excited at this point. Maybe a mixed emotions of excitement and fear. Fear because of never knowing what lies ahead of this journey that I've been taking on.

So I should better prepare and don't let my guard down.

"Let's do this!" I said as I walk out the door of our house.
