Chapter 19: The father and son talk

Killua's POV

"Killua. Please sit down. So, you made some friends."

"Yeah." I simply answer.

"What are this friends like." Hmmm??

"U-uh I don't know. They're fun being around."

"I see. How about the exam? How was it?"

"Hmm? It was easy, I guess." Then a silence came in a minute.

"When you left, you said you want to live with your own life, and that the future was yours to decide. Isn't that right? And is it that why you took the hunter exam?" dad said as he broke the silence.

"Well, I never actually want to become a hunter." I bluntly say.

"Well that's not bother me anymore. You're brother, Illumi, told me that you never want to kill people anymore, that you had enough. Why is that?"

I was just staring at the ground and not answer the last question of my dad.

"Of all my sons, I choose you to be my heir and even of all that happened I still believe that I've made the right decision. Killua, are you trying to say that you're not interested of being an assassin anymore?"

"Well I thought something that I want to do, and with my friends in hunter exam, the training, the assignment it becomes more fun."

"How about Y/N? We know that you help that girl before. Why is that?" My eyes widened.

"Don't worry I'll never hurt her anymore."

"I don't know what was happened on that night, but there's something urges me and saying to help that little girl. After I saved her and knew that there's a family who adopted her, I was still there and watching her." And I didn't notice that a smile was creeping on my face.

"I never seen you smiling again like that. Have you been in love with her?"

"Uhm. If that's what you called, I guess."

"But you're just too young enough. Only 12 and turning 13."

"I know. But I'm sure to her."

"Ok. But just make sure to not hurt her ok?" I nodded.

"So... would you come here at my side and sit. Would you mind tell me your journey with your friends and with her?" With a teasing sound saying "HER".

So I told to my dad my stories with her and with my friends.

Y/N's POV

They have actually had a great talk I think. It was more than an hour waiting here outside maybe I'll sneak around or wait at Killua's room? Yeah, maybe I'll wait him at his room.

Killua's POV

"Hahaha! You kinda have a great taste and choice, Y/N is a beautiful girl." My dad teases and I flushed a red tints on my face.

"So, Killua. You're free now. You can go and travel with them, just don't hurt and betrayed them. Especially Y/N." dad said with a smile on his face.

"Yes dad. Thank you." I hugged him and run outside the room. Y/N must be waiting for me-- where is she? She said she'll be waiting here? Urgh! Where she could be? No!

I run at the hallway where maybe she could sit but she's not there. Urgh! I run everywhere in the house but--- but not in my room!

I hurriedly check in my room, and the barrier inside my chest released as I found her sleeping in my bed. I slowly close the door and slowly approach her. I am smiling while approaching her. She is beautiful, she sleeps like an angel, so calm. I touches her face and remove some strands of her hair from her face. I panicked as she buldge and slowly opened her eyes. I was actually kneeling at the floor beside the bed.

"Uhm... hi" was all I can say. 😅She stands abruptly as she saw me.

"Oh sorry! Did I over slept? How long were you there?"

"Nope. I was actually looking for you, because after the long talk to my father, you were not there outside so I panicked and search for you."

"Oh! Sorry."

"N-no. I'm sorry. I understand, my father talks a lot. Sorry."

"So? How was it?"

"Uhm. Actually..." i fake a sad face, and I saw she become sad also. Oh! That girl I want to treasure. 😊

"Kidding! He allowed me to travel with all of you!"

"Yehey!" She shout and he hug me suddenly. Awww. What a chance. But she releases also.

"Sorry. Carried away."

"It's okay." One more please. 😜

"So can we go now?"

"Wait I'll pack my things."

3rd Person's POV

On the other side, with Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio. They are now at the butler's house playing a coin with Gotoh.

The tension was build when some butlers put a knife in the neck of Canary as ordered by Gotoh.

"So, we have to be serious now. If one of you guesses incorrectly, you're out. And if no one guesses correctly, Canary will be dead, same goes to all of you. So now. We will be deciding your own fate. Master Killua is now heading towards here, we will make sure that before he comes in, he will never seen all of you. So... let's start." And he began to tossed the coin.
