Chapter 13: The Last Day

KILLUA's POV

For the days passed. Y/N and I become closer. We hang out around the Zevil Island. Just roaming around. We want to find the others but I don't know where they are.

Now, This is the last day and we are now heading to the shore and wait for the others. Lippo and the girl started to count down. We have one hour to return to the shore.

I looked to Y/N, she's so worried.

"Any problem?" I asked while placing some of her hair behind her ears.

"Where is Gon and the others?" She said while looking at me.

I was worried also to Gon. Did he got Hisoka's badge?

"Look. They'll be here. Don't worry. They can make it." Then she nooded. I pulled her in to my chest and hugged her.

After a minute she pulled out and shouting, "Hey! There they are!" Then we ran towards them.

"Hey! Y/N! Killua!" Gon said cheerfully.

"I'm glad you make it!" I said to them while punching lightly Gon's chest.

"Hey! Wait a minute! Why are you two are together? I thought you had a fight?" Leorio said while smirking causing Y/N to blush. How cute is this girl. 😍😍

Then we headed to the airship while we told them the story.

"What?! You are now courting Y/N?!" Leorio exclaimed while pointing his hand to me.

"Stop yelling! You Baka!" I shouted.

* T I M E S K I P *

We are all gather at one room designated to all the successful applicants. I'm sitting at the corner with Gon while watching Y/N who's standing near the window at the other side talking to Kurapika. I let them talk as long as I can see her.

"Hey! Killua?" Gon asked and I turn my head to him.

"How about your brother? What she will do?"

"Uhm. Y/N said that he still hate my brother, of course he killed her parents."

"I understand. I'm glad that you two are now ok. Maybe, I surrender to our fight, you know I still have a crush on her. But if she will be happy with you." He said while facing the floor and I mock his head.

"You baka! Stop saying that!" Then we laughed.

"Hey you two! Please be quiet! I'm sleeping!!" Leorio said who is on our side lying.

"Oh gomenesai." Gon retorted back.

(Y/N)'s POV

I look back when I heard Leorio shouting, and we (I and Kurapika) back to them.

"What are you doing guys?" I asked them.

"Nothing." Gon said. Smiling ignorantly while scratching his head. I sat beside Killua and lean my head at his shoulder.

"What's the problem?" He asked.

"Me and Kurapika are thinking what would be the final exam."

Then he put his hand on his chin. "Hmmmmm. You're right. I wonder what would be our final test."

"Once we called your number just simply report at the Chairman's Office." A girl announced.

"Applicant number 44." The girl added. Then Hisoka stand and walked out of the room.

After a while, my number has been called and reported to my godfather.

"Oh hi Y/N." chairman said and I smiled.

"Please be seated." He added. "I just want you to ask some questions. Who are eyeing you most at the remaining applicants and why?" Then I look at the picture at the table. It is the picture of remaining applicants.

"It's Killua. Gon. Kurapika. And Leorio. Because they're my friends. Also Hisoka. Because of his great abilities." While pointing their pictures.

"Oh, I see. My next question is, who are the applicants that you don't want to fight?"

"Again. My answer is still the same. I don't want to fight my friends. Hisoka, because I don't have a chance over him at the fight."

"Hmmmm.. My last question is, why do you want to become a hunter?"

I stop and think. It shouldn't be hard for me to answer this because I know why did I join this hunter exam to become a hunter, but why is that I can't answer it now?

I took and deep breath and release it.

"At first, I want to become a hunter because I can have a revenge for the death of my family. But now, I think it is changing. I slowly accepting the fact that they are dead. Yes, I hate the person who killed my parents. But I am not the right person to give a sentence for him. I'll pray for his soul." I pause. "Now, I want to explore the things in the world as a hunter and still continue to develop and enhance my abilities. I am also willing to help and use my abilities for the betterment of our society. That's all."

"Oh, very well said Y/N. I'm glad that you learned a lot of things here in the hunter exam. I'm glad also that you learn to accept things." He smiled and I smiled him too and give him a hug.

"Thanks Chairman." And then I walk out at his office.

As I opened the door I saw Killua and Gon outside sitting on the floor. (Again?) but as soon as they saw me, they stood up ran towards me.

"How is it?" Gon asked.

"It's ok. Nothing to worry about." I said and smiled, then we headed back to the room where we're situated.

I wonder what will be the final exam?
