As we entered the waiting room, all of them throw a glare dagger on us, trying to intimidate us.
"Well, if these guys are our opponents, it'll be a cinch. Just take it easy." Killua said more on himself.
"Killua quite, they can hear us." Zushi grumbled quitely.
"2054, Mr. Killua, and 1963, Mr.Zushi. Please head on the arena A on the 57th floor." the announcer said.
"Huh?!" Zushi said with a mark of fear on his face.
Poor Zushi. Why it has to be with Killua?
Then they both left.
After that, our match has been announced too, but like before, it was an easy match. Gon and I concluded it by just one attack.
"Killua is taking it so long, don't you think?" I asked Gon.
"Yeah. Now that you mention it." Gon replied.
*Elevator Dings*
"Oh! Hey Killua! There you are!" Gon said as he saw Killua out of the elevator.
"Check it out, Y/N and I got 60,000 each. How about you?" Gon added.
"It took you longer to get here than we expected." I said to Killua.
"Yeah I ran into some trouble. Zushi has potential, he'll be strong one day. For now, he's just a target practice for me. Punches that weak, I could knock him around easy." Killua said then he paused.
His face become more serious I guess?
"But I couldn't beat him. I won the match, TKO by points, but still I just couldn't knock him out. Also, when he changed his stance, I got this real creepy feeling, like when I face my brother" is he talking about Illumi?
"I don't know what it was, but it felt... dangerous. It's gotta be some kind of technique. I heard Wing called it 'Ren', and saying Zushi that he's not supposed to use it, yet." Killua added.
Ren.. You are not supposed to eavesdrop at the conversation Killua.
"So he's not supposed to use Ren? Until he gets all the way up to the top floor? That's were the strongest fighters are, right? At the top floor?" Gon said to Killua.
"Gon, Y/N, we need to change our plan. Let's shoot to the top floor."
"Right!" Gon replied to Killua.
I can't say anything right now, about all of this. This Ren thing. I am not the right person to tell them about this.
As our fights still goes on, we already won six consecutive matches over the past three days. We reached the hundred floor without a scratch.
"Yay! Our own room! We're not gonna have to worry about money and lodging anymore!" Gon said cheerfully as always.
"But we still need to be more careful. Remember? Drop below the 100th floor, and you'll lose the room." I said reminding Gon.
As of now, we are here in Gon's room, eating while watching replay matches on the TV.
Killua's POV
"Killua, look. Y/N is already sleeping. I think you should carry her to her room." Gon said.
T-to her room???
"Earth to Killua!" Gon said as he poke me in my senses.
"Oh, yeah. I heard you." I replied.
Then I carried Y/N in a bridal carry style, and laid her in her bed.
"You're still beautiful." I said after I put her gently on her bed.
As I about to turn around, I heard her say "Really?", then I froze to where I'm standing.
"I--I thought you were sleeping?"
"I was." she said.
"Hmmmmm. Since you are awake now, can I stay here for a while?" I asked.
When she is about to speak, I already jump on her bed and laid beside her, but I am on a side position facing her.
We stayed silent on that moment, no one is speaking. The silence is not giving an awakard feeling, but a warm feeling. I am just staring at her while she was staring at the ceiling.
"Uhm, Y/N?" as I started, then she hummed.
"I'm still in to you remember? I want it to be official, and let's start date each other. Am I not enough for you?" I said.
She turn her side to face me, and I am waiting for her answer. I am trying to read her face, but I can't.
"You know that I like you too, Killua. So don't say things like you are not enough for me. The truth is, I think you deserve someone better than me." she said.
Is she turning me down? 😐
Why is that I felt like I was stabbed by a dagger right through my heart? 💔🔪
I'm beggining to catch breath.
"Hey! Why are you crying? Baka!" She shouted.
"Baka! You are turning me down, of course! It hurts me so much you know!?" 😭 tears falling down.
"Idiot! I am not finished yet you know!?" she shouted again.
Huh?! 😶
"Huh?! What?" I clarified.
"I said I am not finished for what I'm saying ok?" she paused.
"I don't deserve you know? Because you deserve better than me..... But who am I to turn down the person I love.... Yes Killua. My answer is, yes!" then after I heard that, I hugged her so tight and kissed her in the cheeck many times.
My heart is overflowing in joy right now, and I think my heart skip a beat many times just for her.
You are the girl I love the most.
You are mine, and mine alone.
I will protect you with all my life.
"Good night...
Babe."
I said as I close the door, leaving her sleeping on the bed.
