Chapter 6: Hunter's Special Test

KILLUA's POV

"Attention all applicants! The night is getting late. Go to your designated room and have a sleep. Good night everyone." A voice of a girl announced.

In every designated room, there's a 12 applicants. The room kinda long and big. The toilet room is not closed but there's a wall separating from it and there's a big mirror where you can see yourself in the end of the room.

Luckily, I, Y/N, Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio are in the same room. The bed is for a single person only. Six beds at the left, and six beds at the right.

My bed is in 4th at the right, at the front of it, Leorio lies; next to me is Y/N, in front of her bed is Kurapika; next to Y/N is Gon.

Other applicants started to turn off their lights at their side and begin to rest.

After awhile, I heard a voice of a girl speaking.

"I can't sleep." Y/N said as he turn her side to me.

"Then don't sleep." I smirked as I turn at his side also. Gon is very sound at his sleep, and looks like Kurapika and Leorio too.

"Y/N?" then he looked at my eyes. Shouldn't I tell her? Urgh! Can't help! Ok fine!

"Uhm. The kid that you're telling awhile ago in your story. Do you know his name?" I said.

"No. From the time that I'm about to ask his name, he actually left. But I think he's also 6 years old that time, or maybe a younger than mine."

"Oh. I see. H-ho..." I was cutted by Y/N.

"Killua... Uhm.. actually, from the first time that I saw you. I thought you're that boy." I was surprised of what she said.

"You actually look like him" now, I was controlling my myself not to tell, but the more I control myself not to tell, it is the more it wants to unhide the truth.

"Y/N. What if I am that boy?" the words escaped from my mouth. I can't hold it anymore. Her eyes widened, and she looks like she daw a ghost from the past.

"Y-yo-you?!"

"Yes Y/N. I am that boy." I was composing myself.

Then suddenly, I felt something watery and wet on my bed.

No! I quickly opened the lights beside me as I saw a water getting higher. Then everyone gotten their lights open.

"Damn it! It's getting higher!" I said.

"Everyone! Don't panic!" the bald headed ninja, Hanzo, said.

"Toilet snorkels!" Y/N said pointing at the shower and toilet area.

"Toilet snorkels?" Gon questioned.

"Showerhead!" Y/N said once again. What Y/N trying to say? We are all standing now in our bed. The water is getting higher and it is now at my chest level.

"She's right! Go! Fucking go!" another applicant said. Then all applicants swim towards that area, with Y/N.

"What's going on?! What are they talking about?!" Gon said clueless. I looked Gon like saying 'I don't even know too.'

"Hey, hang about, what's wrong with the fucking door?" then the water filled the room.

Gon and I swim at the door trying to open it with all our force but it can't. We look at the direction where Y/N, Kurapika, Leorio, and together with the other applicant, detaching the showerhead.

As Y/N detached the showerhead she swam at the toilet bowl and she inserted the hose of the shower at the toilet bowl. After that, she began to breath with it by getting an oxygen there. She's so brilliant.

Since the showerhead is limited, some applicants are very desperate and getting the other showerhead.

Gon signaled me to follow them and we swam at the mirror. He was planning to break the mirror. Trying our luck, we punch the mirror so hard. We hit it, and hit, and hit. Then it breaks, making us all flush away outside of it.

As the water drains, I got quickly to Y/N who is coughing hardly and patted her back.

"Congratulations for completing the Special Test!" Satotz said who is in the end of the room.

"Y/N! well done! For those of you who are still confused, if you can get a breating tube around a U-bend of toilet, you have an unlimited air supply. Simple physics, worth remembering." He explained.

"Gon! Killua! well done for spotting that was two-way mirror." he continued.

In our room, 8 of us managed to get alived while 4 are dead. As we fix ourselves now, we approach Y/N.

"You're brilliant, Y/N" Leorio praised.

"Yeah! How did you know that we can get an oxygen there?" Kurapika asked.

"Yeah! How? Though it is little disgusting." Leorio added, and we laughed at Leorio's reaction.

"I just remember my training. It is my master who trained me, taught that. But not exactly as this. I just got only remembered." she explain.

"You're a quick thinker Y/N." I smiled. Then she gave me a warm smile. Oh! My heart melts!

We approached the common room and then sat on the floor in the corner of the room to took a rest.

Kurapika, Gon, and Leorio started to lied down in the floor.

As Y/N preparing also, I approach her and said that she can rest at my lap. Where she nodded.

Now, at my lap, Y/N lies. I slowly caress and brushed her hair by my hands.

'I will always protect you, Y/N. No matter what. Even if it means my death.'

Then, my eyes began to heavy, and rest, while sitting at the floor and Y/N in my lap.
