Anxiety already raving
on borderline, revved up
impatiently waiting for this passionate time, contracting erupt;

How long shall we last the night?
darkness needs not seen,
spills secrets of its own sight;

not when you're whispering sweet nothing's upon ear, such a hauntingly dear -

through snarling woods just behind foot, you closely
chase mine, polluting days
by unforseen cries;

impulses shooting veins as that of quick lightening, never ceasing
nor quietening -

air relinquishing short

-

an unwitting topple swallows
body whereof, look
now, inches above -

current twirling as mine
eternal consort, a natural
disaster distort...

surface just close enough to breach,
but does one choose to

reach?
