I love you too death boy part 8

That night Nico kept thinking about his conversation with Jason. He couldn't sleep. Will would be taking the night shift because it's Wednesday. Just go and talk to him, he told himself until he eventually got up and walked over to the infirmary.
It was pitch black outside besides a street lamp that was set up out side the infirmary.
He stood at the door for about 20 seconds before knocking.
He saw a light go on inside and then heard footsteps. Will opened the door . "Nico what are you doing? It's the middle of the night" Said Will.
"Will I, I um I-" Nico stuttered before Will cut him off.
"I'm sorry Nico, I didn't mean to yell at y-"
Nico grabbed Will's face before he could finish and kissed him. Tears started welling up in his eyes. "I love you Will, I'm so sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I was just scared of getting close to you because I didn't want to hurt you. I'm sorry for everything please forgive me" Nico said pulling out of the kiss with his hands either side of Will's face.
"I love you too death boy, but I'll only forgive you on one condition."
Will said with a smile.
"Anything" Nico said.
"Kiss me again"
Nico's face lit up and he pulled Will in for another kiss wrapping his arms around the taller boys back. Will wrapped his arms around Nico neck and kissed back. It was the perfect first kiss.

Sorry if this ending wasn't satisfying enough but I read all this fan fic of Solangelo and I think people forget that Nico is only 14 at the end of Blood of Olympus.

Next morning, Nico woke up in the infirmary to the sound of someone whistling 'you are my sunshine'.
"Morning Sunshine" said a familiar voice. Nico yawned and sat up.
"Good morning Will, wait why am I here" Nico said happily. "You pretty much passed out as soon as we stopped kissing last night so I let you sleep here. Will walked over and gave Nico a quick peck on the lips.
"What's the time?" Nico asked.
"Time to go to breakfast, you coming?"
"Oh so now you give me the option of breakfast" Nico teased.
"Nope, I was just being polite" Will said grinning. Nico rolled his eyes. "You're so adorable" Will said.
"Will can you do me a favour?" Nico said.
"Sure, anything" Will said as he sat next to Nico on his bed.
"please don't call me adorable, it makes me sound like your little brother" Nico said looking down at his hands.
"Alright, your not adorable anyway"
Said Will. Nico looked up confused and furrowed his eyebrows. Will put his hands on Nico's neck and pulled him in for a kiss. As they broke apart Will whispered
"you're not adorable, your f****ing hot!" Nico blushed, Will laughed "better?"
"I mean I'm not-"
"Shut up Nico, you really can't take a compliment can you" Will said light heartedly.
"Come on death boy" Will said as he got up and walked out of the infirmary holding Nico's hand.
