Will was have having a pretty bad day. Well, worse than usual.
It was his turn to set the alarm in the morning to wake up his siblings. But because he was in a rush doing other cabin councillor duties, he forgot. So when the morning came, he and all his siblings were late for breakfast. Will didn't think it was possible to get that many death glares before 9:00am, from Apollo campers too.
There also happened to be a meeting on that morning that Chiron had scheduled after breakfast, that he was late to.
He ran in with half his pyjamas still on, a coffee in hand, and a half eaten piece of toast in his mouth. He apologised furiously while trying to chew at the same time.
The meeting was almost over and he'd missed all the important information so there wasn't much point rushing in the first place.
Also because he had missed breakfast he missed seeing Nico and saying good morning. He knew that today was Nico's group training day with Jason and Percy, which he only did once a week. So Will didn't want to interrupt that.
He and Nico hadn't been talking that much recently. They both had been insanely busy with different things and never got to spend time together.
Will wasn't sure if it was just his sleep deprived brain being paranoid, but Nico had seemed to be acting weirdly around him.
For example, whenever Will was with him and they saw some of Nico's friends, all of a sudden Nico was too cool for Will. His personality would change to something completely different and he would ignore Will.
Was Nico ashamed of him? Could this day get any better?
