Solagelo through a series of goodbyes

Nico, Jason and Piper were leaving for camp Jupiter today. Jason was going to help out Frank and Reyna with Praetor business, Piper was just going so she could stay with Jason. However, Nico was going to catch up with his sister and Reyna.

The three would be regularly making these trips every 4 weeks. This was the first of the trips that they would make, it would last for 2 weeks before they returned back to camp Half blood.

--------- Trip 1
Jason stood under Thalia's pine waiting for Nico to bring his bag up to  the bus that was waiting at the entrance to the camp to take them to the airport.

"Sorry, I got held up." Nico apologised as he jogged up the hill to where Jason was standing.

"That's fine, you still bet Piper. What's taking her so long?" Said Jason looking behind him to see if Piper was ready.

"Meh, she's a girl. They normally take longer than guys to get ready."

"Did you say goodbye to Will?" Jason asked Nico.

"Oh no, I forgot. Oh well, he won't notice I'm gone." Said Nico dismissing it with his hand.

"I would still go if I were you. He might want you to say goodbye to him." Said Jason.

"Sorry everyone." Piper interrupted their conversation.

"I couldn't find the shoes I wanted. Turns out one of my siblings stole them." She said angrily.

"Pfft, girls." Said Nico and Jason at the same time.

"Alright, let's go." Said Jason putting Pipers bags into the back of the car.

--------------------- 2nd trip

Once again, Jason stood at the top of Halfblood hill under his sisters tree.
You could see most of the camp from up here. It had a good view, Jason made a mental note to spend more time up here.

Jason looked down and saw Nico outside the infirmary talking to Will.
If Jason listened carefully, he could just make out what they were saying.

"Um I came to say goodbye because Jason, Piper and I are leaving for Camp J today." Said Nico,

"I know you got upset last time when I didn't say goodbye to you so I didn't forget this time."

Will smiled,
"I'll miss you." Said Will.
Nico looked at him quizzically,
"Why?"
"Because we're friends idiot. Who else am I going to force to stay in the infirmary with me?" Will said chuckling.
A smile tugged on the corner of Nico's mouth.
"Well, Cya in two weeks." Said Nico turning around.
"WAIT!" Will called.

Nico spun around on his heals to face Will, who pulled him into a hug.

"Be safe Death boy." Said Will.
Startled, Nico didn't immediately react.
Nico wasn't used to being hugged but something about being this close to Will made him feel...he didn't know what he was feeling. Only that he wanted to keep feeling it.
"I will."
---------------------3rd trip

Nico stormed up the hill clutching the strap of his overnight bag.
He held it so tightly it looked as if he was trying to strangle the life out of it.

Nico threw his bag in the boot of the car. He got in the back, sat down and slammed the door.

Confused, Jason knocked on the window.

Nico didn't respond, he sat there with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face. Jason opened the door and leaned an arm on the roof of the car.

"You know we aren't leaving for another 40 minutes Nico?" Jason stated.

Nico didn't say anything. He sat glaring at the seat in front of him.
