Hair cuts

Nico walked towards Jasper and Percy, (or Jercy and Piper 😏) who were sitting at the Poseidon table. Even though they weren't supposed to share tables, they did anyway.

"Hey Nico." Jason called out.

"Hey." He monotoned sitting down in a spot where his back was facing the rest of the dining pavilion.

"What's up? You seem down. Well, more than usual." Percy asked.

Nico gave him a sarcastic smile, "Thanks."

"Why aren't you sitting with Will?" Jason asked.

"What, so now that we're dating, all of a sudden I have to be with him 24/7?" Nico snapped.

"No no no I just meant...you two usually sit together."

"I didn't feel like it, so drop it."

"Dropping it." Jason obeyed.

Piper rolled her eyes at her cowardice boyfriend.

"You and Will got into a fight didn't you?" She asked calmly.

"Maybe." He said looking down.

"Don't worry man, these things happen." Percy reassured him. "You've just gotta push through it. If I broke up with Annabeth after our first fight as a couple, we would have had a been together for...15 minuets."

"Jeez Percy, that isn't something to be proud of." Jason pointed out.

"Na ah," he shook his finger. "We pushed through. Like waves on the sand."

Nico frowned, "That doesn't make-"

"Shhhhhh Nico, don't ruin the perfect moment. Also don't look now, but here comes Will."

Nico gasped and hunched over, trying to shrink as s as possible "Great, just pretend I'm not here."

"Hey everyone." Will introduced himself cheerfully, squeezing Nico's shoulders from behind. So much for hiding.

"Hey Will, how are you?" Jason said awkwardly.

He smiled, "Great actually. I got a hair cut this morning and Nico hates it."

He said wrapping his arms around Nico's shoulders, and resting his chin on his head.

"Oh yeah, I don't know what Nico's thinking. It looks good." Piper complimented.

"DONT COMPLIMENT THE TRAITOR!" Nico snapped.

"Calm down Charlie Brown. It's just a hair cut." Percy stated.

"Was this the fight you were talking about? Oh my gods Nico, I thought you had a real fight, with like yelling and stuff." Said Jason.

"Oh there was yelling." Will said still grinning, "apparently I have to ask permission before I cut my hair." He said slipping into the seat next to Nico.

"Don't be stupid." Nico snarled finally looking at Will. "But I would have at least liked to have known."

"It wouldn't have made a difference. Your answer would have been the same."

Nico pouted and ran his hand over Will's, now short, hair.

"But I liked your long hair."

"If it makes you feel any better Will, I think you're new hair cut looks sexy, it makes you look older."

"HEY! Don't you be calling him sexy. That's my job."

"I don't see you complimenting his new hair cut." Piper sassed.

"Just to let you know, Piper McLean," he spat out her name like some vial food.
"I also think his hair cut looks sexy. But I still don't like it."

There was a pause.

"Um...why?" Percy asked, him and Jason looking at the son of hades in confusion. Piper however, seemed to have an idea where this was going.

Nico and Will looked at each other, then back at the group. "Uh..." Nico blushed, "no reason. Oh would you look at the time. Gotta bounce." He said getting up, pecking Will's cheek, then dashing away.

Awkward pause.

"Am I the only one who is confused here?" Jason asked.

Percy shook his head frowning.

Will smirked and leaned in. He spoke in a whisper.
"Do you guys really want to know the real reason that Nico didn't want me to get my hair cut short?" He asked.

Percy, Jason and Piper leaned in.

"He likes running his fingers through my hair as we make out. And now that it's short, he can't do that."

"AHHHHHH!!! ewwww ewwww ewww!" Percy and Jason squealed in disgust.

Piper burst out laughing at the boys reacting.

Will grinned and shrugged,
"You wanted to know the truth."

"Not if it was that." Jason answered.

Piper rolled her eyes. "Grow up you too."

"But Nico is an innocent baby." Said Percy. " I don't want to imagine what else you too get up to."

"Trust a guy with first hands experience, he's not as innocent as you think."
Will raised his eyebrows twice, flirtatiously.

"EWWWWW!"
