Even though Nico and Will were dating, Nico still didn't smile that much. Whenever any of the seven mentioned or ask about the son of Apollo to Nico he would usually reply with:
That's none of your business
How does it effect you
Why don't you ask him
Ect
Even when Will hugged him in public, that was the extent of Nico's PDA with Will, he never let his guard down. Only when Nico was alone with Will did he truly act like himself.

Nico walked into his cabin and flopped down on his bed. He rested his arm across his eyes to shade them from the ceiling light.
The seven had been pestering Nico all day about him and Will, he was fed up.
He heard a knock on the door.
"Go away" he called out.
"It's Will, and I'm coming in." Will walked in and sat on the end of Nico's bed.
"If you were going to come in anyway, why did you knock?"
Will lay down next to him.
"So I could see if you were in here, and also to let you know that I was coming in. What's up? You seem frustrated."
Nico let out a sigh,
"My friends have been annoying me all day. How's Will? Do you need any relationship advise? Why aren't you hanging out with him?" Said Nico.
Will turned on his side to face Nico. He propped himself up with his elbow and rested his head on his hand.
"What did you tell them?" Will asked.
"That it was none of their business and to leave me alone."
Will chuckled,
"Sounds like you. Always guarded, never talks about anything personal to anyone."
Nico frowned,
"I talk to you, Hazel and Jason and sometimes Reyna about stuff like that."
"Yeah but that's it. You shouldn't be so embarrassed that we are a couple, people already know. We are kind of the only gay couple at camp so of course people are intrigued. You don't need to feel embarrassed."
Nico turned to face Will.
"I'm not embarrassed, I just don't like telling everyone about my love life because it's private."
"Jeez Nico, you don't have to go into detail for Hades sake. If they ask how I am, say 'good thanks for asking' and they'll leave it at that. But because you are always so aggressive with your answers they push you." Said Will.
Nico wrapped his arms around Will and rested his head on his chest.
"I'm still new to this whole being nice to people thing. I'm not very good at it."
Will smiled and kissed Nico's head.
"Trust me, you're much better than you were 3 months ago. It takes practice. Step 1. You need to smile more."
Nico raised an eyebrow and looked at Will like really? In a sarcastic way.

"What? You should, your smile is cute. I always smile and people like me." Said Will.
"People like you because you're approachable. You are a son of Apollo. Apollo kids are always nice people. Hades kids on the other hand are just freaky and creep people out. Bianca didn't have many friends and before the prophecy, neither did Hazel. It's a Hades thing."
Will sat up and crossed his legs.
"At Least try to smile a bit more."
Nico did his best fake smile and it made Will laugh.
"Not like that you idiot. A real smile, like when you're happy." Said Will.
"But I'm not always happy. Why would I smile when I'm not happy?"
"Because" Will said, "if you smile, even when you're not happy. It makes you feel better. That's a scientific fact."
Nico raised an eyebrow and smirked abit.
"Is it now?"
"Well, it probably is. You need to practise smiling or else I will force you too."
Nico crossed his arms,
"You can't force me to do anything."
Will grinned,
"I can make you smile though. 5 drachmas says I can."
"Alright 5 drachmas says you can't"
Replied Nico.
Will grabbed Nico's top and pulled him forward. He started kissing Nico all over his face.
Nico pursed his lips together tightly but smiled anyway.
Will laughed,
"I win."
"That's not fair, you can't touch me, that's cheating." Nico frowned.
"Aww, I finally got you to smile and you are already frowning again." Said Will sounding disappointed.
Nico smirked a little.
"You are cute when you frown." Nico chuckled and then slapped his hand over his mouth.
"HA, I made you laugh then." said Will.
"No you didn't. Shut up!" Said Nico lying down and covering his face with a pillow.
Will flopped down on top of him.
"I did so. I made you smile and laugh, I am a the most powerful demigod in the world!" Said Will.
Nico laughed again,
"Oh what an almighty power you have. The ability to make people happy. Get off me."
Will smiled and removed the pillow from Nico's face.
"Don't rain on my parade." Will let out a satisfied sigh.
"Nico?"
Nico looked up at his boyfriend.
"What?"
"I love you" he lay a gentle kiss in Nico's lips.
"I love you too"
"Nico?"
"What?"
"I love you" he kissed him again.
"You already said that."
"I know but I wanted to say it again. I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you." Will said repeatedly giving Nico little kisses.
"WILL!!" Nico interrupted him, Will looked down abruptly.
"What?"
Nico smiled and kissed Will this time.
"I love you too."
Will smiled and rolled off Nico so he was lying down next to him.
As he did, Wills fingers grazed some bare skin on Nico's stomach. Nico gasped and sucked in.
"You're ticklish, aren't you?" Said Will sitting up.
The smile on Nico's face vanished and was replaced with pure terror.
He gulped,
"N-no" Will grinned evilly.
"You're such a bad liar." Will started tickling Nico who was trying so hard to not laugh but failed.
"WILL STOP!!!" Nico yelled between laughs.
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your laugh."
Nico laughed a little,
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your face."
This made Will laugh.
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your smile."
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your everything about you."
They went on like this for a while until they were just naming random things.

"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your...hand." Said Will picking up Nico's hand.
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your...foot." Nico picked up Wills foot which made him lay back down on the bed.
"Oh my gods, I f***ing love your...elbow." Said Will.
"This is ridiculous. We're just getting weird now." Said Nico.
Will laughed,
"Well we're weird people."
"That's for sure."

Annabeth's POV
Nico didn't seem to be in a very good mood that morning. The seven wanted him to be happy. They thought that talking about Will would make him smile because he likes Will but it just made him uncomfortable and more angry. He stormed off towards the Hades cabin and had been in there for the last hour.

"Do you think he'll come out for lunch?" Asked Jason.
"I don't know, I'm going to go and check on him a apologise." Said Annabeth.
Annabeth, Jason and Piper all walked towards the Hades cabin. When they got there they heard laughter from inside. They then heard heaps of swearing coming from inside the cabin.
"What is going on in there?" Asked Piper.
"I have no clue."

Back to Nico & Will,
They heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." Will called out.
"You can't say come in before you even know who it is Will."
Jason opened the door,
"Don't worry Nico, it's just us." He said walking in followed by Annabeth and Piper.
"Why are you guys here?" Asked Nico.
"We came to apologise for pestering you before. We didn't mean to upset you."
Will laughed,
"You're such a sook Nico."
Nico slapped his hand over Wills mouth.
"Thank you for a apologising guys but I am also sorry for overreacting."
Will tried to say 'overreacting is an understatement' but it didn't sound like that with Nico's hand across his mouth.
"It's okay Nico, we know that you don't like talking about personal things so we won't ask anymore."
Said Piper.
"Thanks guys."
Nico whipped his hand away from Wills mouth.
"Don't f***ing lick my hand Will."
Will laughed,
"I will f***ing lick you if I f***ing want to." Said Will smiling.
"Wow dude, what's with all the cussing?" Said Jason.
Will and Nico both laughed.
The group looked at each other quizzically.
"It's an inside joke. Hey Will, I love your f***ing  knee."
Both the boys burst out laughing.
"Ohhhkaaaay we are gonna leave now." Said Annabeth.
"Make sure you f***ing close the door behind you." Said Nico as the group left his cabin.
