MINE part 1

Nico's POV

Even though he was mad at Will, Nico didn't want to leave camp. Nico ran into the woods and climbed up the biggest tree he saw and just sat there and cried.
"How could I be so stupid? Was it obvious that he was with someone else?"

Part of him wanted to believed Will's story, but the other part of him was the same part that tricked him to thinking that he had was better off alone and had managed to get the better of him l those other times.

"No I'm not giving in again. I'm not leaving but I'm never speaking to Will again. If he wants to go off with other people he can, but I'm not being a side dude." He thought to himself.

Then he heard someone else near by.
He froze soled, determined not to let the other person know he was there.

Then Nico noticed that the person was crying. And by crying, I mean completely heart broken sobs.

The person sat down at the lake and buried there head In their hands.

"It's all my fault." He said between sobs.
"I should never have gone into that cabin."

Then, Nico spotted Percy running towards the figure, calling his name.
That's when Nico discovered that the person crying was his (ex?) boyfriend Will.
When Percy spotted him, he sat down next to Will and didn't say anything for a while.

Nico didn't know why Will was upset. He was the one that cheated...or maybe he didn't.

When Will started to talk, Nico sat quietly. Listening in on there conversation.

"I hate it Percy. How would you like it if every time you walked past a group of girls they would all harass you and grab at you like starving animals?"

Percy furrowed his eyebrows.

"It can't be that bad, I mean they are just girls."

Will let out a humourless laugh.

"You are severely underestimating a group of desperate teenage girls. You have no idea what they are capable of. For a gay guy, that is our worst nightmare.
In your case it would be like heaps of guys coming up to you every time they see you and flirting/harassing you."

Percy thought for a minuet. He did have a point there.

"Just tell them that you're not interested and that you aren't straight."

"YOU DONT THINK IVE BEEN TRYING?!! They don't take no for an answer. The think no means yes and get away from me means take me I'm yours. (Disney Hercules reference) The worst bit is that they all try and slip me their numbers because they all have phones even though they shouldn't. That's why Nico left, he found one of their numbers and I told him I didn't know who's it was, because I didn't. I don't take the time to actually get to know many of the girls in the Aphrodite cabin incase they do things like this to me. He thought that I was cheating."

Tears started forming in Will's eyes.
"Now he's gone and he will never forgive me for something that was completely out of my control. I just wish they would leave me alone and Nico would come back. I hate it Percy it's not fair." Now Will was practically sobbing.

Percy went to pat Will on the back reassuringly but Will screamed and jumped back.
"Don't touch me." He cried, jumping back. He was clearly traumatised by the previous experience.

After a while Percy and Will got up and walked back towards the cabins.

Nico had got it all wrong. On the outside, Nico was happy that Will hadn't cheated. But on the inside Nico was sad that he'd made Will upset and felt really bad. But even deeper down in his gut Nico was angry, angry at the girls for starting this whole thing and most of all, vengeful...
