Chapter 9 -
Run!run!RUN! My brain takes a while to process what i should do.I'm not running from jenny the woman dieing on the floor right in front of me, just the man in the black coat who is the murderer of most innocent people on the island.
We reach the others.
"Jenny's gone" jake said as if it was not a big deal. she was alive once she was a woman, an evil one at that but no one deserved to be killed here. no one.
"Yes. jake ki..."
"Thats enough jess" he whispers yet raising his voice.
He killed a person. just like the man in the black coat. he lowered himself to be with the murderur. He has become more evil than jenny herslf.
"Hey. whats up your all pale!" tara asks "i mean i know you are pale because you just are but trust me your white!"
I giggle.
"Yeah. I'm fine just feel a bit sick thats all" i say lying to my best friend about something that is desperately wanting to get out.
"Oh and by the way i have exciting news! it will cheer u up loads your gonna be blown away!"
"And what is the exciting news then bro!"i say giggling at the way she wacked herself in the face as she fist pumped the air for no apparent reason.
"I am a.....!" She drum roles on the ground. "i'm a duckie!" she walked around with her two hands being used as a tail and a beak with the odd quack here and there.
Taras exciting news was crazy and certainly was not amazing but it did cheer me up a bit.
We all decide to go and and explore as we moved from where we were camping last time.
We find a place where there are lot s of bushes,leaves and trees.we stay there sunbathing for a while until we decide to get moving. when tara accerdently pushes ash in to a ditch. Ash screams and falls in. its not that deep and we manage to get ash out of there.
Then ash spots something very interesting. There behind her are lots of leaves neatly placed but they haven't grown like that, they have been moved there by someone.
She looked behind the leaves and there was a cave.
The cave was massive and on the front there was a wooden sign and on it theres is a few words but its in a different language.
No one says anything and we all enter the cave jake leading us. we go in and hear a chanting but its in a different language but they are shouting the same thing over and over again. we get closer in when we hear footsteps. we all follow jake as he runs somewhere where there is a wall so we can hide.
The two men walk past wearing black coats. identical to the killer. as they pass we decide to check out the shouting. We all tiptoe up to a wall and pear around it our hearts beating 10 times as fast as it should.
There were millions of men in black coats chanting the same thing on big steps they were everywhere all identical coats on.
They all looked identical except for the man in the middle who was wearing a red coat. he looked out of place. he then started talking english. this took me by surprise.
"We are gathered here together to sacrifice one of the demons that has been faced before us on this island"
I watch with my mouth open as they carry Jenny's body to a table. The man in the red coat pulls out a dagger from his coat and hold it above him and it shines and glimmers as the sharp metal is held up high. i then realized who we was sacrificing.
He then quicker than i could think of how he was going to kill jenny the dagger entered her body. he was slicing her to pieces!
Jake puts his hands over my eyes to stop me from looking .his hand is quickly off my face though.
He takes his hand off my face because behind us we hear a voice in a different language. we have been caught and whatever the consequence was it wasn't good.
I ran and so did the others when the guy in the coat grabbed ashleigh. she tried to kick him away but he didn't budge. and then he got a knife out and held it up to her neck.
"Stay where u are" he said while calling others. they grabbed hold of our arms and legs and took us into a room i was in a room with ash.
Ash was crying and i watched every teardrop fall of her cheek feeling guilt all the way through me. i took her on this cruise if it wasn't for me she would be at home with her family.
"Jess"
"Yeah ash"
"What are we gonna do?"
"I don't know ashleigh i don't know"
We waited in there hours chained to the wall crying.
The door was kicked open and there was a man in a black coat. his expression was horrible with a smirk on his face.
"The girl with the blonde hair."
He was obviously indicating ashleigh as my hair was a light brown colour. just like my mums.
"What about her?" a voice said from behind him says.
"Shes next to be sacrificed"
Ashleigh's eyes widened filling with fear.
"Whats ya name Darlin?"
Ash didn't reply.
"Fine." he unlocked her chains and as soon as he did she tried to run for it only to run straight into him.
She was then taken out of the room dragged.
"Ash!"
"Jess.no.help!"
"ASH!"
I heard a scream. no. no. she cant be dead. she cant.
My head hurt and the tears are just trickling down my face. but i don't care because I'm upset and i have a right to be upset.
The door crashes open again.
I wait for a man in a black suit to make me reach the same fate as ash but it isn't a man in a black suit.
Its vicky.
"Ello kiddo!"
