Kind of a small chapter, the entire thing is in Kyle's POV and it's a bit out of whack but I hope you enjoy. I've had a bit of writers block but it's coming along good with ideas. Enjoy! (:

My chest was tight and the atmosphere around me was unbearable. Johnnie hadn't talked to me in a week and I was slowly dying. The clock moved its long hand onto the six causing the bells to ring throughout the school. At last that miserable atmosphere was gone and class was over. As soon as I could reach the nearest bathroom I ran in and washed my face. I looked in the mirror feeling disgusted as I sighed. My eyes were as heavy as two anvils weighing down beneath my eye sockets. Acne covered a bit of my chin and my forehead and my eyes, bloodshot red with a hint of pain.

"Hey!" The familiar voice of my friend Nye sounded throughout the bathroom.

"Hi." I avoided looking at him, he came up next to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Everything alright?" I nodded, but my answer was incorrect. Everything was not alright and I was a complete and utter mess. He awkwardly shifted to the other side of me, pulling out his phone.

"Don't bother asking, just everything's out of whack at home." He nodded in understanding.

"Oh, Alright. Feel better man and text me later." I nodded and with that he was out and it was just me and the muggy mirror in front of me. After it seemed like hours of pure hideousness I decided to go to my next class.

"Kyle you're 15 minutes late do not let it happen again." I nodded, I felt nasueous with all the eyes watching me as I sat myself in my seat. Johnnie was in this class yet he did not take a single look towards my way.

School passed by pretty swiftly but not as fast as I wanted to. I decided to not return home because I wasn't ready to face Johnnie's cold stares.

I had to admit, he was probably losing interest in me. I don't know how he gained it in the first place, I was a total jerk to him and he knew nothing about me. I still remember the look on his flustered face when he first talked to me.

"Good luck on the exams next week, don't forget to study!" Kids packed their things as the teacher finished his lesson. The halls flew with kids rushing to get to the cafeteria. A small and slightly emo boy approached me.

"H-hello." I looked to him, his face was hidden by most of his hair and his hands were a trembling mess.

"Um, Hi?" I was confused as to why some random kid like this was speaking to me.

"My name is Johnnie and I thought you seemed c-cool so." He seemed to have lost his train of thought considering he was stammering over his words. "So. Uh. Y-eah." I gave him a confused look.

"Oh ok good to know I guess." You could say I was pretty cold but at the time I didn't care at all. This kid was an unknown to me so why would he matter?

"Sorry uh if I'm b-bothering you at all!"
"No I don't think so, just really annoying how you're stuttering so much."
"Sorry! I heard your name was u-uh, Kyle."
"Yeah that's me, stop appologizing it's pathetic." His face flushed red with embarrassment and I rolled my eyes. "You're weak." I laughed and he looked like he was about to die. I had to admit I felt bad but I was not a nice person and this kid wasn't aware.

"I'm sorry I'll leave you alone!" I stopped him in his tracks. Putting my hand on his shoulder his entire body tensed up and it was like he was malfunctioning.

"Your cousin is Jason Morales, right?" He nodded and grew quiet, his tense body became even more tense. "Alright," I removed my hand off his shoulder and began walking out of the classroom.
