Today, while the Dead Men, Valkyrie and Fletcher were trying to find out where Lord Vile's armour was before Vengeous did, Tanith was given the task of taking October shopping to get her some more clothes. A boring task, October thought it was as well, but it obviously had to be done. Tanith took October to the shop that Valkyrie said her mother, Melissa, had bought the bodycon Wednesday Addams dress. The shop was called Darkside. It was a gothic shop with many dresses, shoes, boots and much more. October definitely looked the part, wearing the Addams dress and black canvas shoes, her natural, wavy, black hair down, long and shining, coming to her waist.

Tanith really didn't look the part. Here, she didn't fit in whatsoever. Tanith's tousled blonde hair stood out against all if the black and the various dark colours. Tanith was also wearing very, very tight brown leather that was exposing, and looked really light against the black. She didn't have her sword with her. Skulduggery had made her leave it at Kenspeckle's. She couldn't of hid it behind her coat as it was warm out, she would have looked really suspicious if she wore a long leather coat in this heat.

October looked around and smiled. The owner of this store was a Necromancer. She knew him well before and during the war. she looked around a little, choosing some dresses from a rack. She looked at a few tank tops and shorts and decided to get a few plain black ones. she got a few leggings and some boots and creepers and Converse, all in black, and she walked to the owner that was behind the counter.

Crow Jasper stood behind the counter. He had long, black hair, cut into one of those 'emo' styles. He was wearing his Necromancer robes, and his irises and pupils were swirling pools of black. the whites of his eyes stood out to all of the black. Crow Jasper stored his Necromancer powers in his irises. He was a powerful Necromancer. No one ever asked him about his eyes because they thought, as he often dresses in his robes or various other gothic ensembles, that the blackness was contact lenses. And that his appearance startled some people so no one ever really asked him anything anyway. He smiled when he saw October.

"I thought you were dead, October." Said Crow with his low, rumbling voice.

"Well, I'm not." She replied.

"I've heard that Baron Vengeous is at it again, trying to summon the Faceless Ones." He said.

"That's what seems to be happening, and obviously I'll need clothes. You owe me money still." October said. During the war he had asked her to do a few things, unforgivable things. She isn't a easy person to double-cross. If you owed her money, she'd get it one way or another.

"That I do. Have all of that for free. And also my full cooperation whenever you may need it. Also a few other Necromancers. I know a few that owe you." Said Crow. She thanked him and October and Tanith walked out of the store with bags of clothes.

"Who was that and why did he owe you money?" Tanith asked.

October hesitated. "That was Crow Jasper, a friend of mine and a Necromancer. And why he owed me, well, that's for him and I to know and everyone else to wonder. All I'm going to say is that I did a few things during the war that I should regret, but I don't. He owed me money for them and so do a few others. I know he'll keep his word."

"You shouldn't trust Necromancers." Tanith said.

"Look, I know about you, and I know that Skulduggery had sent you to babysit me, but I am a very powerful mage and I am centuries older than you. I know many a Necromancer. I mean, Solomon Wreath and I used to go out. Dad doesn't know, of course, but Solomon knows how powerful I am. Solomon and everyone else knows how powerful I am. I know who to trust and who not to trust. They fear me, you know? I beat up Dusk, Sanguine and Baron Vengeous on my own when everyone else was unconscious. I don't need the likes of anyone else babysitting me."
