"What happened?" Tanith asked rushing to Valkyrie and looking at her cut hand. It looked as if someone had tried to cut her hand off. Kenspeckle Grouse began working on her hand. Ghastly, Saracen and Skulduggery were talking quietly amongst themselves. Dexter was getting a drink for Val.

"He has it." Skulduggery grumbled. Only then did I realise the slashes and holes in his suit. He went to sit down and grunted.

"Who has what? Why are you grunting?" Saracen asked.

"He's hurt." I told him. "Professor, please check up on him when you're finished with Val." I said.

"He has everything. The armour, the grotesquerie, the ingredient..." My father said. "For God's sake."

"Whats going to happen now?" I asked.

"You're not leaving this building." Dexter said. "You're not getting hurt."

"Keep me locked in here and you'll be getting hurt. By me." I murmured. Saracen smirked at me when no one else heard. I pouted at him and he let out a laugh. I flopped back into my seat and he shot his head towards me, giving me a look. I smirked.

Whilst he and I were having a silent conversation my father and everyone else was coming up with all sorts of plans. I wasn't invited, and Saracen was ordered to babysit me while they were out kicking ass.

"Well, since I'm not welcome to come along with you all I'll just head to another room." Saracen followed me as we walked into the medical bay, away from everyone else.

"You've got a death wish." He said.

"And? I've just got back and I wanna do something. Its boring here."

"What are you planning?" He asked, massaging his temples.

"Let's go on an adventure, but first, you'll have to dress up."

"What do you mean?"

"The Necromancers wont want you in their temple if they recognise you. Dress up a little. It'll be fun."

"I look like an idiot." Saracen said.

"Shut up, you look fabulous." I smiled. He kind of did look like an idiot. I had dressed him in my old black robes.

"What are we doing, then?"

"We're going on an adventure," I told him, grabbing him and shadow-walking into one of the offices inside the Necromancer's temple.

"October, what could I do for you?" Crow Jesper asks. I glance at Saracen as he glares at me. "You need a favour, don't you?"

"Yes. I need those other Necromancers, the ones that owe me. Its time they pay their debt, and you the rest of yours." I tell him. Jesper nods and tells us to stay here while he goes and gets them. It took him twenty minutes. When he walked in with them, I glared at him.

"You'd been gone for so long I think I've already started decomposing."

He apologised for taking too long.

"All of you," I boomed, "Saracen will tell you the name of the abandoned hospital, but you're all going to help my father kick Vengeous' ass. If I hear even a whisper of any one of you thinking of hurting him, or anyone else besides Vengeous and his people, I'll kill all of you. No mercy. Am I clear?" They all nodded.

"Good."
