Epilogue - Nat
None of us took Mason's death well. Not that we were sad, we were relieved that it was one sadistic hunter less.
Jade missed a day of school, and we weren't worried. She needed some time. It was just lucky that the whole thing happened over the week-end. She apologised a lot, but we told her she didn't have anything to apologise for.
Ben and I had to have a whole week off school because of our injuries, but the group was really nice to visit us every day after school. They still thought it was weird, we could tell, but they lived with two of their friends being freaks. They didn't exactly have a choice on the clearing that day.
Dylan stayed for a little while, and they became great friends with Jade. I had a feeling it would become more in the end, but I didn't dare say that.
Jade came around to check up on me and my brother with the others on the following Wednesday. We couldn't exactly got to hospital. How would we explain that we had a bruised chest, but no opening whole?
"Can we come in?" Mel poked her head into the room. I looked up from the windowseat.
"Yeah, sure!" I smiled. She opened the door wide as my ten friends piled into my room. They got me the homework, that I asked for, and one present. Nick handed it to me.
"From all of us." he said with a mysterious smile. I took off the ribbon and opened the box. A huge smile broke out on my face as I saw the simple bracelet that had my crystal on.
"Thanks." I said to all of them.
"No bother. We got one for Ben too, but his is a pendant that he can change into what ever he wants." he shrugged as Ben came through the wall and sat on my bed, next to Matt and Rachel.
"Thanks guys. I'm sorry I had to leave you to all the horrible teachers." I rolled my eyes.
"Mr J missed you." Mel laughed as Jade entered the room.
"Yeah, he did. He said he missed our debates and that the English lessons aren't the same without them." she smiled. I hugged her and she hugged me back. We knew there were no hard feelings.
"I bet." I laughed.
"At least you're fine, right?" Sam asked.
"Yeah." I said as I went back to the window seat. As it started raining, I clicked my fingers and a flame appeared on the tip of my thumb. "Now I am." I said as the others gathered around me and we watched the rain from the warm room.
That's me. Sitting in a room, with my family and friends around me. Fighting for the right cause. With three shifters on our side, one of the most powerful hunters and a bunch of humans, who would think we were one team? A team who will once let us live in harmony. A team who once live in peace. A team who will once outlast the hunters. Our team. With me.
Their Phoenix.

That's it guys. That is the end of Phoenix. However, I did leave it opened, since I quite liked it, though I have had better ideas in my life... But I'd be happy to revisit it, and so, if anyone would like a sequel, please say. I have a goal Of how many people, but I will keep it to myself, so get commenting if you want a sequel. If you want, comment anyway, but you don't have to say you want a sequel. Simples.
Thanks for everything guys, especially because I wrote this YEARS ago, and haven't edited it since, so it could still be so much better, but thank you anyway.
