Jason's pov

We get back to my place and there are cops already there talking to Miranda! "Oh shit! Now what?" I cry, hiding behind a tree. The guys hide with me. "Dude, you're screwed. You shot a cop and tried to take the rest of 'em out with a grenade!" My hands are shaking. "I'm gonna lose the girls again!"

Miranda's pov

I spot the boys in hiding. Hopefully the cops don't notice. "Well if ya hear from him again, call us." "Will do." I lie. After they leave, I walk over to their hiding place. "Jason, get your dumbass hillbilly self out here right the fuck now!" I yell beyond furious. He walks out from behind the tree. "It's not my fault baby. I never woulda done that sober!" He cries. Whoa! I think he's afraid I'm gonna leave! I walk over, a not mad look on my face. "Jason, I'm not leaving if that's what your scared of." I gasp. He stares at me wide eyed. "Y-You aren't?" He shakily asks. "No of course not. I love you Jason but you need serious help." "H-Help? Help with what?" I hold his hand and pull him back to the house. "Your drinking problem, Jason. It's not good for you and it's not good for the girls." He breaks down in tears. "Please baby help me. I'll do anything." I guide him to the couch. "Of course I'll help you. Just sit there and don't get up."

I'm worried. What's she got planned? I mean she is an ex cop! They probably have some pretty wacky ideas. She's gone for a while then she walks back with rope! ROPE?! "B-Babe w-what's t-that for?" She looks sad. "Where are the girls?" I ask, standing up and backing away. "Jason, please just trust me. I know what I'm doing!" "Do you? You've got rope for fuck's sake!" I yell, completely freaked right now. "Keep it down. Keely and Kendyl are upstairs." Oh so they are here! Dammit! I don't want them to see me like this! "You said you'd do anything." I sigh and sit back down, still dizzy from being semi drunk still. She ties me up only freaking me out more. "I really don't know why you have to do this." "You'll see in a minute." She says, wiping a tear from her eye. I'm so scared right now.

I walk back in the kitchen and get a case of moonshine and a big trash can. I drag it out and he looks at me confused then his eyes get huge. "B-Baby, don't! Please don't you can't do that!!!" He shouts, struggling against the ropes. "I have to Jason! It's the only way to get you sober." I open one jar. Man this stuff stinks! "Don't! I'm begging you don't pour it out!" He cries. I fight back tears and pour it in the can. "You're insane! Don't do that again!" I open another one. His hands are trembling. "Dammit you bitch, put that shit down! Get away from my moonshine!" I take a step back shocked that he called me a bitch but he's just drunk! I shouldn't be shocked. I pour it down and he stands up, fire in his eyes. "Stop it! Dammit!"

Jason's pov

I finally cut free of the rope. When I said anything, this isn't what I meant! "You get the hell away from my moonshine. She takes a step back. "J-Jason, calm down! Sit back down!" "No! You're pourin' out my stash! What the fuck is wrong with you!?" "I'm tryin' to help!" She gasps. I slap her. "Don't you ever. Touch my moonshine again." I growl, stomping off. I put it back in the fridge. "Y-You slapped me." She whimpers in the doorway. "You made the mistake. Don't you ever do it again." I mutter, slamming the fridge shut furious. She pulls out her phone as I sit down. "Who are you callin'?" She glares at me and doesn't reply. "Hello operator, get me the chief of police." My eyes go wide. I stand up quickly. "What is wrong with you?!" "You're what's wrong with me!! I was trying to help you and you slapped me! If Keely or Kendyl poured your precious moonshine out would you slap them?!" "Of course not!!" "But you slapped me? The girl you claim to love?" I'm about to snap. I snatch the phone and throw it against the wall, making it break. I grab her shoulders, pushing her against the wall. "I don't love you. I just keep our around for sex. That's all you are to me!" She instantly starts to cry. "You're a piece of work you know that, Jason! I thought you were a real man. Boy was I wrong!" She shoves me and walks out the door. I don't even care anymore. I lay down exhausted, miserable, and headachey.

*the next day*

Brantley and Justin come over to see what happened. She never came home last night and I don't even care. "I'm livin' the single life boys." "Why? What happened?" "She had the gall to tie me up and try to pour out my moonshine." I mutter, drinking a jar right now. Then there's a knock at the door. Justin opens it and I'm surprised to see Miranda. "Come crawling back?" "Fat chance asshole. I just forgot my sunglasses." Her face is red like she's been crying. She finds her sunglasses and walks to the door to leave. "I thought you were leaving." "I-I am but before I do have one thing left to say to you." Ugh. She walks back over, slaps me in the face, and said, "I wish I shot you with the shotgun." Then she walks out. I try not to look as embarrassed as I feel. "Damn, what the hell happened?" Justin gapes. I roll my eyes. "Whatever. I'm just glad that bitch is gone." I mutter angrily.

Miranda's pov

I go back home and cry myself to sleep. The next day I wake up and my friend Kim is sitting beside me. "Come on girl, you don't need him." I rub my eyes, the pain in my heart almost too much to bear. I cry my eyes out most of the day and Kim takes care of me.

Jason's pov

I go with Brantley and Justin to a bar. "You aren't even a little bit upset that you and her broke up?" "I'm sure it'll hit me in a few weeks but right now I don't give a shit." They probably think I'm stupid. And I probably am.
