A Wedding And A New Hunting Buddy

Jason's pov

I gladly get married with my two best friends standing beside me. My beautiful young daughters in flowing dresses on the other side and my gorgeous teary eyed pregnant wife in my arms. "Baby girl you've made me the happiest man alive." I say, gladly kissing her.

*later*

I go to the studio on the way out of town for the honeymoon. I wanna remind Mike I'll be out all week. I tell him and he says when I get back, he's got a collaboration for me. He'll tell me the details later. So we go to a beach in Mexico for the honeymoon. "I'm somewhere on a beach sippin' somethin' strong, I got me a girl she's got it goin' on." I whisper sing to her while we drink champagne on the beach. One of the workers walks over and tells us they have some dolphin thing going on. "Ooh dolphins! Let's go try it out!" Miranda gasps, excited. I smile and we go to the ocean where they are doing the dolphin experience thing. I gotta say it was pretty magical.

*one week later*

I get back to the studio and Mike is talking to that black haired guy that showed up at my door after all that crap with Dallas. He turns around and waves. I wave back a little nervous. "So uh what's up?" I ask, sitting down. "A collaboration song. Between you and Luke." Luke. So that's his name. I forgot it.

*later*

"Hey Jason me and a few friends of mine are going hunting. Ya wanna come with us?" Did he forget about that stuff with Dallas? "Ya ain't still pissed off about what happened between me and Dallas?" I ask surprised. He shakes his head. "I'm a very forgiving guy. Anyways?" I guess so. I nod and text Miranda about it then we go to his friend's house. Wow he's friends with duck dynasty's Willie Robertson. That's pretty damn cool. "Wow, um I don't mean to sound like a total fan here but love the show." I say. We shake hands. "I'm a fan of your music too." He says, catching me by surprise. "Thanks man." We walk into the lodge and the sign on the wall says buck commander. This is really cool.

*later*

I nailed a few big bucks. "Hey Luke thanks for inviting me. I had a lot of fun." He smiles. "I did too. I think we're gonna be good friends." He says, resting a hand on my shoulder. I smile. I think so too. We walk back to the lodge and unload our kills. "Hey Jason go tell Willie we made it back. He should be inside." I nod and set the ropes down I was untying. I open the door and a bucket of water hits me, freezing me! "Whoa Nelly! What was that?" I gape rubbing my freezing arms. Willie and a couple other buckmen laugh. "Initiation, Jason. Welcome to buck commander." Luke appears behind me. "I'm confused." "We want you to join the lodge and become an official buckman!" Luke says smiling. Whoa! "Really me?" I gasp shocked. They nod. "But before you accept the invitation, I must warn you, initiation is embarassing and always on camera!" Willie says laughing. Uh oh. "Well, I'm up for the challenge." I say confidently but nervously. "That's the spirit Jason!" Tombo says patting my shoulder. I smile. This is pretty cool. We go back to Luke's truck. "I'm gonna get on home now." He smiles. "I'm glad we met Jason." That makes me smile. "Me too." He holds a hand out which I shake confidently. I think I've made a life long friend.
