"Why are you running around on a Friday night and vandalizing?" Nathan asked while crossing his arms and looking between me and Levi. He's acting as if he's my parent and I just got caught sneaking out.

"Nathan, it's no big deal. We're just having some fun," I said while smiling up at Levi.

"Really Parker? This is what you consider fun? Turning on me, lying, and then going out with some random guy you've never met?"

"Nathan I've known Levi for awhile now."

"How long?"

"...three days," I whispered.

Levi looked at Nathan and gave him a small wave.

"Hey I'm-"

"I know who you are, Levi," Nathan snapped, causing Levi to lower his hand awkwardly while he cleared his throat.

"Parker, can I talk to you in private? Like behind a building or something?" Nathan asked.

I looked at Levi and he gave me a nod. I've already told him everything that's been going on between Nathan and I, so he's taking the whole situation pretty well and has been giving me my space.

I led him to the swings and pressed my back against one of the cold metal poles while Nathan stood in front of me.

"Why would you do that to me?" He asked.

"Do what? Go out and have a great time?"

"That's not a great time Parker, that's lying to me and then meeting up with a guy and embarrassing me."

"I didn't mean to. Besides, you said you didn't like me."

"Well I don't."

"Good," I said, causing him to go silent while he thought of how to respond.

"Why don't you?" I asked

"You know why Parker."

"No, I really don't. You never told me."

"It's no big deal, just forget it."

"No Nathan tell me!"

"It's not important!"

"If you don't tell me right now-"

"Okay, fine! It's true Parker! All of it is true! Okay? I like you! Is that what you wanted to hear?"

I breathed in a shakey breath and felt my hands begin to tremble slightly. I hate fighting with Nathan, I've only done it once before. And the fact that he just risked everything to admit to me how he felt must have been hard for him.

"Nathan, I'm sorry."

He sighed and waved a hand at me, pretending like it was no big deal. Even though he wanted to move on and forget everything, I didn't want to.

"Look, I'm sorry I pushed you. It was wrong of me and that took a lot of courage for you to admit to me how you feel. So thank you," I said.

He looked up from the ground and met me eye. His expression appeared as if he was about to cry or scream out in anger, either way I still felt terrible for making him feel that way.

"So do you like me? Do you feel the same way?" He whispered.

I slowly walked up to him and moved his arms away from his sides so I could wrap mine around his waist and press my face to his chest. He waited a moment before his hands pressed to my back and he began embrassing me as well.

"I don't know how I feel. I'm sorry. Is it okay if I think about it over night? I've had a long day," I asked, looking up at him and his red and watering eyes.

He nodded and placed his chin on my scalp. I repositioned my head so I could lay against his chest and feel the rise and fall of every breath.

Nothing happened after that. I didn't kiss him, I didn't cry, and I didn't scream at him. We just stood in complete silence and hugged each other while we felt the world move around us, but to be honest, I wouldn't ask for anything else.
