Darkness {Young Justice}

Chapter 7

Dark Storm raised his gun towards the Director. "This is for everything you had put me through!" He said as he was about to pull the trigger, but Conner pounced on him. Megan turned back into her human form, but her skin color was green.

"Give up Dark Storm!" Tim said. "And tell us where Darkness is."

Dark Storm laughed, "I never give up and as for Darkness I don't know where she is."

"Don't lie to us." Nightwing said in fighting position waiting patiently for Dark Storm's move.

"Do you really think you can take me?" Dark Storm asked. "I was trained to succeed and that's what I'm going to do." Dark Storm punched Nightwing in the face, kicked Megan in the stomach and headbutt Conner in the face. Darkness was in the shadows waiting patiently to see who of the good guys would need help. Blue Beetle and Dark Storm were fighting it off with hand and hand combat. With Dark Storm's experience Blue Beetle wouldn't stand long, but with his armor will help provide him more time to be taken down.

When Dark Storm swiped Blue Beetle's feet and he fell to the ground. "Yeah...yeah..." He muttered to no one. Dark Storm stepped on his stomach and Blue Beetle groaned in pain. Darkness threw her pocket knife at Dark Storm hoping to cut in on the cheek, but instead he caught it.

"You know Darkness you really shouldn't have saved them." Dark Storm said to her laughing at her mistake.

"And why is that?" Darkness asked confused, but not showing it. Dark Storm and Darkness both took out their pocket knives and clashed it them.

"They will betray you." Dark Storm said. "Even though you have helped them, they'll betray you."

"I highly doubt that." Darkness said throwing a punch at Dark Storm.

"Believe what you want, but it'll be too late when you realize your mistake for not taking my warning." Dark Storm said. 

"What have you done to earn my trust?" Darkness asked. "You killed the others and shot me, and you expect me to trust you?"

"I don't want you to trust me I was just giving you a warning." Dark Storm said as they kept fighting.

"Why would you even tell me this?" Darkness asked. "It's not like we're friend, or partners, or anything."

"But I won't allow you to die in the agency's hands." Dark Storm said. "I want you to die by my hands."

"That's... comforting." Darkness punched Dark Storm in the face and busted his lip. Dark Storm threw one of his knives toward her face, cutting Darkness' right cheek.

"If they where really going to help you then why aren't they?" Dark Storm asked.

"Because they know that I can take you down!" Darkness grabbed his arm and used most of her strength to flip him over. Dark Storm landed on his back and he grabbed Darkness leg. She fell down and both jumped to the other side to get away from each other. Both of them were panting lightly.

"You take me down?" Dark Storm said chuckling evilly. "You couldn't even take me down in training." He ran towards her as she did the same.

"That's when I wasn't trying to hurt you!" Darkness said hitting his chin with her elbow and he punched her in the stomach taking her breath away. She clutched her stomach trying to regain her breath before Dark Storm put an end to her.

"You forgot Darkness that I know your fighting style." Dark Storm said. "Wasn't it his anniversary yesterday?" He wanted Darkness to get angry for her to be blinded by anger and would make her punches sloppy. 

"Don't talk about him." Darkness said in a dangerous voice. "I'll end you right here!" She ran towards him in a rapid speed and threw a powerful punch. To Dark Storm's surprise it wasn't sloppy it was well coordinated. She kicked him with a lot of force and his back hit the brick wall. It left a huge crack on the wall, bricks were had fell or was about to fall off.

Dark Storm groaned the pain was becoming difficult to ignore. "You learned to use your emotions in battle. I'm impress."

"What did you expect?" Darkness asked in a icy cold voice. "You made me this way." They fought some more punching each other and kicking. After what has felt hours of fighting both Darkness and Dark Storm couldn't stand anymore. Dark Storm was bleeding from his leg and Darkness' legs had collapsed from exhaustion. Both of their eyes were too heavy to keep open, but Dark Storm gave in first. "I won." Darkness muttered under her breath before closing her eyes.

"We were able to capture them." Lagoon said to the Director.

"Really?" The Director said surprised. He had thought it would take them months to find them and then more months to capture both of them.

"Why do you sound surprise?" Tim asked.

"Well they both trained with each other in combat." The Director lied. "How did you beat them?"

"Because we're awesome!" Beast Boy said.

"We let them fight till both of them dropped." Tim said to him.

"That makes sense." The Director said thinking he had not trained them properly. "Put them in the same room and tie them up."

"Okay..." Nightwing said unsure, but he did it anyway.

"Follow me." The Director said going through a hallway with a lot of locked metal doors. Megan thought this place looked familiar, but thought it was her mind playing tricks on her. The Director walked towards a door with a required password to get inside. "Please turn around." They did as told as he put the number password in. "You can turn around now." They did and he pointed to the two metal chairs and said, "Tie them there."

Nightwing had Dark Storm and carefully tied him to the metal chair while Jaime did the same to Darkness. "What's going to happen to them?" Jaime asked.

"They'll be interrogated." The Counselor said surprising everyone. No one had heard her go into the room. "We don't know what else will happen to them. The government will decide on what else happens to them." She lied as she had taught all the other agents including Darkness and Dark Storm how to lie.

"We would like to see the interrogation." Nightwing said. "I mean since we did capture both of them, I would like to interrogate both of them.

The Director didn't like this, but he had no choice. He couldn't let them know about the project, and Darkness and Dark Storm don't have the kill chip in their heads so they couldn't kill them without the young superheroes knowing. "As you wish."
