CHAPTER 4

Stiles POV :

Scott is obviously ignoring me because I ditched him but c'mon I'm his best friend, he has to let it go at some point. I felt pretty awful about forgetting him and went out looking for him last night. But when his mom texted me saying that he was home, I decided to just confront him at school and let it all be over with.

Speaking of school, I'm late and I have to pick up Charlie.

I rushed to the kitchen to get the keys to my jeep and watched Dad walk in, looking pretty tensed.

"You know if you worry any more, those lines on your forehead are going to turn into craters." I tried to lighten his mood.

"Not now Stiles!" Dad responded hastily as he turned on the stove to cook himself a quick breakfast.

"Dad, I've already made you waffles. It's on the table." I said as I ushered him into dining area of the living room. "Now, what's wrong?" I had a more concerned tone in my voice.

"I'm in a bad position right now, son. For the safety of the students, I had kept a 17 year old boy away from school and all of the County's activities, believing him to be a psychopathic teen murderer. But now, my eye witness claims that he didn't actually see anything that night and this has led the entire department to believe that the boy is actually innocent. But I still have a gut feeling that he isn't an ordinary kid..." Dad spoke as he quickly ate his breakfast.

Ohh shit! If what dad says is true, then the psychopathic murderous teenage boy a.k.a. Isaac Lahey will be back in school today. That doesn't sound good for anyone!

"Yes Dad. Real innocent." I said with high levels of sarcasm in my voice.

"Besides, reports say it was an animal attack. So we shouldn't have much to worry about, except your late night, pesky adventures in the woods." Dad looked at me with a stern gaze. He was just very protective over me and I was very stubborn and liked meddling.
Dad continued, "Now, I just feel bad that the poor kid had to endure police confinement for a crime he didn't commit."

"Yeah, poor Isaac." I said disgustedly and walked out of the house.

Charlie's POV :

My first day at Beacon Hills High School. It sounds exciting, but I was having a major crisis.
What should I wear?!

First impressions meant everything and being high school, there was obviously alot of judgmental brats whom I had to win over, so I had to be at my best.

I walked into my closet and started looking for something to wear. Stiles was going to pick me up in an hour and that gave me just enough time. I finally decided on what to wear after almost 20 minutes of rummaging though mine and Amy's stuff. I looked at the mirror pretty pleased with my attire. I had chosen to dress it up since it was the first day, so I got on a peach lace dress that was just above my knee and a tailored leather jacket which was gifted to me by my aunt on my 18th birthday. I perfected my winged eye liner over the summer and finished it all off with cherry lips. I sprayed myself with my favorite perfume and I was ready to head for school. I heard the door bell ring and rushed downstairs with my bag.

"Stiles!! Good morning!" I said, a little over-excitedly.

I knew I cheered him up from something that happened earlier because he stopped frowning and came at me with a big warm hug.

"Ready to go?" He tried to look cool and failed as he almost tripped over the porch steps. I ignored it and hopped into his jeep. His clumsiness was adorable. I laughed.
