Manik's point of view

I was shocked to see nandini there but I was more then shocked to see nandini with aryaman

"ohh baby I missed you so much" said nandini in sugary voice

"I missed you too jaan" said aryaman while caressing her cheeks

I was burning with rage and anger....it was my right to touch her that way..but wait why I am thinking like this...I was the one who left her....I was the one who wanted her to move on so when she is moving on why I am getting this feeling that someone has snatched my breathe away from me

I need to focus...I need to be happy...for her.....but wait....she doesn't recognize me ?.....she didn't say anything to me....to be precise she ignored me....but why

While I was busy with my inner turmoil aryaman moves towards me and keep his hand on my shoulder...I looked at him

He was standing with nandini besides him and his hand was on her waist...holding her tight

I clenched my jaw and fist in anger....but when I see nandini's face my all anger vanished...her face can still calm me down

She was looking at me....with plain expression....god why she isn't showing any expressions to me....did she really moved on ?....ofcourse manik.....you left her with no option....but she loved me....but you wanted her to live without you....

I got lost again in my thoughts when aryaman shakes me a little to get me back from my world

"Hey buddy...you alright....you seem lost?" He asked with concern

"Yeah I am fine" I said with a difficulty and smiled

I need to be strong....I should not show that this is hurting me....I wanted her to move on....so I should be happy for her

"You wont introduce me with her ?" I asked with a fake smile which I tried to show as a normal one but failed

"Ohh yeah...meet nandini murthy....and nandini he is parth my friend and my ex-co-worker" aryaman introduced me with nandini and I smiled

While nandini looked at me with questioning face...what is it ? I thought

Ohh shit....aryaman just said that meet my frnd parth...ohh no....now what

She looked at me I smiled at her but she doesn't smiles back....instead she forwards her hands for handshake

I hesitated a little to touch her....because it can break the ice from which I have covered my heart's feelings...but then I took her hands in mine...her touch was soft like always...she was looking same as before...she looks more weak now but she still looks beautifull

"Nice to meet you.....Parth" she said emphasizing on my name a little (a fake name) and smiled

And I got lost in her smile

"Same here....nandini" I said her name as a prayer....with a lost expression
