Evangeline left the infirmary the next morning.
She had to find Loki. Her vision, her vision was somewhere dark. A window in the painfully dark room showed a purple sky, a toxic purple. She couldn't gather anything else for Loki's pain was too great for her to function properly. The dull throb and sting in her back was a horrid reminder of last night.

She just want to know why, why now? Why after all this time would Loki activate their link?
She blinked and grumbled. The shining floors of the palace halls were distracting with the bright morning light bouncing off of them. Shaking her head she wondered the halls.
She found Levain's door. She knocked gently, when there was no response she pushed it open.
Levain and Thor lay on top of a pile of pillows. Levi had Thor with his body and head on his chest. Levain's hands rested on Thor's hair as they slept peacefully. A hairbrush was discarded near their heap, as well as a bottle.

Evangeline gently shook in silent laughter as she quietly closed the door.

Levain woke up with a Thor in his lap. The blond's body rested on his, and his hands were still woven in his gold strands. He blinked and tried to recall last night.
He remembered offering to free an animal from Thor's hair and it went down hill from there.
Thor gets extremely clingy when he his drunk. Whatever was in that bottle was strong, and should not be taken lightly.
Levi stared at the sleeping man's features. His lip had healed over night which was a good thing. His bags under his eyes seemed less extreme than they did last night.

He felt bad for him, he really did.
His brother was taken from him, he constantly was reminded of his loss, and now Evangeline had to be injured by some link proving that his brother was out there and being harmed. Thor cared deeply for Evangeline, most certainly in a platonic way. Evangeline only had eyes for her Loki, and is continually being emotionally ripped apart.

He remembered when he was ripped from her and his family.
The took her and sent her away to earth were she would be poked and proded in medical facilities. They locked him away in a castle of the dead never to see another creature until he was saved by her once more.
Levain looked back down at Thor, Levi had begun making small circles with his fingers on his scalp. He enjoyed human contact. He was so deprived of it for all most all of his life. He forgot what it felt like to touch someone and not have their skin feel like ice and chalk.

Thor reminded him of the Sun, bright and gold. His smile was like a candle and it was unbelievably infectious. He was always warm. He could understand why Evangeline gravitated towards him.

He could feel Thor beginning to wake up. His yawn was very loud as he stretched and turned to look at Levain.
"I did not realise I had fallen asleep..."

"After we finished that bottle I'm fairly certain we were both out."

Thor boomed a laugh, causing Levi to wince at the loud noise.
"You do know how to pick a mead."

Levi grinned. "I suppose so."
