Levian was currently in a baffled state. His conversation (confrontation perhaps?) With Sif left him red and confused. He? Fancy Thor?
It wasn't out of the realm of possibility. Who was he kidding, Thor was like a giant blond puppy who could kick ass and take names. Hel yes he could certainly say he might possibly fancy Thor.
Fancy is dumb word. Perhaps ass over tea kettle would've more appropriate.
He hasn't let himself admit it but he had gotten quite attached over the few months he has been here.
At first he was only just a friend, but Thor held such compassion. He had issues but as someone who was raised by Shades he couldn't even begin to talk about issues.
It was slowly then all at once. Sort of like a heart attack.
Levian narrowed his grey eyes. His inner voice was a little pessimistic shit.
He grumbled and went back to his chambers. He couldn't remember what he was trying to accomplish before getting ambushed by Sif. She was an intense person. Levi, not so much.
He shut the heavy oak door behind him before flopping on top of the mattress. It wasn't ten minutes later that a heavy knock sounded on his door.
He pinched his eyebrows together and sighed. He stood and fixed his slightly rumpled shirt before answering the door.
Thor stood in his doorway, looking a little better from when he had last saw him. His hair was combed and braided on the sides, his lip had also healed quite well.
"Thor- hello, how can I help you?" He didn't mean to blurt that sentence so quickly it just kind of happend. Curse you Sif.
"I was wondering if you would like to head out to see the city? There is a festival and it's been brought to my attention that you haven't left the palace." His smile was soft, and Levian felt his stomach twist, not in an unpleasant way.
"I, of course. What time would you like me to meet you?"
He asked regaining some self composure.
"Around thirty minutes or so in the main hall, the sun should be setting soon. It will get rather cold." Thor said with an affirming nod.
"Okay, I will meet you there." Levian smiled at the blond before shutting his door.
He exhaled a long breath before heading to his closest.
----
As expected Thor was waiting patiently sitting by the main doors.
Perhaps it was his imagination but it seemed as if his face lit up when he saw Levian round the corner. He chalked it up to paranoia.
"Are you ready?" Levian asked as he walked over to Thor.
Thor had changed into a warm brown cloak and dark pants, Levian could see a burgundy shirt from where the cloak separated.
"Yes, of course. Are you ready to see Asgard in its glory?"
"Well now you have raised my expectations, I was just ready to see Asgard." He joked falling into step next to Thor.
As the exited the palace, Thor was right about the chill. He was thankful for the thick blue coat that hung down to his knees.
"I do believe the festival and Asgard should meet your expectations, I should hope." Thor grinned, a slight twinkle in his eye he hadn't seen since he had arrived.
Levian stifled a laugh.
"I should hope as well."
The street they were walk was illuminated by a long string of lights that gave a soft yellow glow, it was rather beautiful. The street was rather busy, even at night. Women with men on their arms, or other women, men laughing with a child on their hip and holding their partners hand. They all were dressed in nice clothing and were all headed in the same direction, presumably to the festival.
"Asgard is quite beautiful at night." Thor commented off handily.
"It really is. Far better than the wasteland of Ronallia." Levian internally shuddered at the memory of the land of the shades. He had spent most of his childhood there. He could hardly remember what the place he grew up in looked like.
"I am sorry that was a part of your life Levian. It is a horrible thing that I would wish on no one." He was taken by surprise on the soft tone of Thor's voice.
"You didn't do it. You and my sister saves me from that wretched place. I am eternally grateful."
Someone bumped into Levian causing him to stumble, Thor helped him regain his balance and held onto his hand to steady him.
He didn't let it go, however they intertwined their fingers and continued on their way.
