"I can't believe you actually did that!" I squealed.

She laughed, "Well, why wouldn't I?"

"Because that was crazy!"

Basically, what happened was, a guy was shamelessly flirting with me, and I was kind of going with it, just for the fun of it of course, and Laelah comes out of nowhere asking if I had my 'rash cream', because it was time to reapply. This had scared the guy and to make it worse, Laelah was pretending to be my girlfriend. It's a good this we don't look alike, because if somebody knew we were related, everything would've been even more weird.

"'Do you have that rash ointment?'" I mocked.

"The look on his face, though-Priceless!"

Our laughter was howling through the London heat, as people gave us worried expressions. We had done some shopping at cute little tourist shops where I bought a few souvenirs for my family, including a necklace for my oldest sister, a bracelet for my other older sister, a stuffed toy for Matt and a plush animal for Max. I had gotten myself a new chain for my dog tag, as to the fact mine had broken just before my plane ride.

We had also gotten milkshakes from a small diner we found, and we got those to go and we were currently drinking them. We were nearing Laelah's apartment building at around six in the evening, planning on going up to eat in her flat. We made it to the elevator within moments and clicked the button to the floor. We were travelling up, still laughing about things that had happened throughout the day. We arrived at our point B and the doors opened, giving Laelah and I the 'Ok' to go ahead into the hallway, still carrying on with our chat.

I had no more than taken my second step, when I had ran straight into the chest of a person.

"Sorry," We said in unison, backing up.

"Hey Niall," I said, a blush creeping on my cheeks, and I felt the heat come up on my ears as well.

"Hi, I'm sorry, I should've payed more attention," He replied, a slightly more mild blush on his cheekbones.

"It's no biggie, I should've too," I agreed with a slight laugh.

"Well, I'll see you around, okay?"

I nodded, "I'm going to eat anyway, see you later."

We walked back into Laelah's flat and once I shut the door, I slumped to the ground.

"I am a disgrace to the human kind."

She laughed, "Why?"

"I've just ran into someone and then blushed for the first time in over a year," I buried my face into my palms.

"Whatever. But what do you think of the guys on this floor?"

"Hmm... They're all pretty cool and stuff. But there's something about Niall-"

"YOU LIKE HIM, DON'T YOU." It was a statement, nowhere near a question, like she probably intended.

I laughed, shaking my head, "That's not where I was going with this. I was going to say there's something about him that's kind of mysterious."

She cocked her head to the left, "What do you mean?"

"On the outside, he's funny, carefree, bubbly, you know, things like that. But on the inside... Well, have you ever been in his apartment?"

She shook her head, "All but his."

"Well there's tons of paintings and he's got a music room. Did you know he could draw?"

She shook her head again.

"What about sing and play several instruments?"

"Never mentioned it..."
