I continued to run through the field, well, right until I got tired. To be honest, it only lasted around a minute and a half before I gave up and settled for skipping. I turned my head to see behind me as I continued my pathetic excuse for excersice, and wonderfully managed to not trip over a butterfly- that's literally what happens to me- and noticed five men and a girl chasing after me with lots of giggles escaping their lips.

I let out a squeal and picked up running again, quickly finding a large tree on top of a hill; no flowers were around it, in its own little patch of grass. I began to climb the branches, which were thankfully near the ground, and hoisted myself up further before the other attendees caught up to me. I perched myself and hid within the leaves, just as they came up the small hill.

I went motionless and hushed my breathing to the best of my abilities. I made sure my eyes were in a small patch of leaf-free area, so I could continue to watch.

"Where'd she go?" Louis craned his neck to search around the hill.

"I swear she couldn't have possibly gotten that far," Liam did the same thing to find my location.

Zayn began walking around near the tree, Harry put on a questioning glance, Laelah sighed and sat down, and I noticed Niall stifle a laugh.

"How about Liam, Lou and Zayn look over that way," Niall pointed, "And Harry and Laelah look where we started, see if she snuck around us."

"What about you?" Liam asked, "You just going to wait for your 'Princess in white' to come waltzing out of the woods and take you into open arms?"

He snorted and spoke with sarcasm oozing from his lips, "Precisely. And then I'm going to wrap my arms around her neck and place a long, lingering kiss to her lips and then-"

"WOAH! WOAH, WOAH, WOAH! This is my cousin! I'm not going to allow this!" Laelah protested.

Niall laughed.

"I wouldn't do that. But Liam might..." He teased.

"Niall!" Liam shouted.

He smiled again, "Just go and look for her."

They did as they were told and began to leave. Niall looked directly at my little perching spot and threw a wink towards me. My eyes widened at the fact he's probably known where I was since he made it up the hill. As soon as everyone was out of sight he began to come up and sit in the tree with me.

I guess I never really looked at Niall very closely before. He had light skin, ghostly almost, and red rosy cheeks and a dimple on his chin- just like mine. He had quite defined muscles on his arms, and that's relatively all I could see from his white shirt. He also had little freckles on his neck and light pink lips.

You know you want to kiss them, don't you Kaitlyn?

I'm going to discard that one.

He pulled himself near me and I fixed my dress so it didn't ride up my legs.

"How long did you know I was up here?" I asked as I swung my dangling feet.

"To be honest," He wrung the back of his neck, "I didn't."

I looked at him, "You just assumed?"

"Completely," He met my gaze with a half-smirk.

"It's a good thing you're a good guesser, that would've been weird if you winked at a tree."

He nodded and we sat on comfortable silence for a few moments. Our legs, up to our knees, were pressed  almost completely together, just the fabric of our clothes between us.
