"So," Laelah plopped down on the bed, still in her pajamas, "How was dinner last night?"

I groaned and rolled onto my stomach, "What time is it?"

"Nearly one," She said cheerfully.

"It's too early for socializing."

"I just want to know, Kaitlyn."

My face was still shoved into my pillow as I contemplated whether or not to send her out.

"It was okay."

"Just okay?" She sounded almost annoyed by my answer.

I hummed in response.

"Tell me more!" She whined as she pushed me by my shoulders.

"When you stop, I will." She stopped and I sat up, ready to speak, "Well, we got there, we were seated, we ordered, and then we ate."

She gave me a look to urge me further. I don't think she could wrap her mind around the fact that that was it-just a normal meal between normal people. I went on to tell her that there was nothing else and that she should stop persisting for more details.

She sighed in defeat, "So what now?"

I thought it over, thinking about things I wanted to do in a new country.

"Do you have a place to get some piercings done?" I asked her.

She nodded, "Around fifteen minutes from here. Want to go?"

"If you don't mind taking me..."

"No problem, I've been wanting more as well. How about we get some breakfast and then we go?"

"Sounds good," I agreed, "Let's not take too long, though. I want to get to the gym today."

"I can call in and make an appointment, one of the guys that work there is an old friend of Kory's."

"Sweet," I threw the covers back and stood from the bed.

"Ooh, Kaitlyn," She wolf-whistled.

I scrunched my face and looked down at myself. A bandeau was clad on my upper half and my Spongebob pajama pants from the first night I arrived in London were on my lower half.

"What are you 'Ooh, Kaitlyn'-ing about?"

She shrugged. "You just looking so fine," She said in a half-mocking tone.

I made a ridiculous pose and plastered on a matching face to seal the deal. I walked to the closet and grabbed an outfit: a pair of dark jean shorts and a striped V-neck shirt.

"Laelah, I need you to leave now," I made a shooing motion, "It's shower time."

We took a turn onto a side street from the main road and parked the car in the lot.

"We're here," She said as she pulled the key from the ignition.

This was the exact tattoo and piercing studio you'd expect: Motorcycles lined the sidewalk near the door, graffiti on the walls of the interior, and tough looking people hanging around the outside while smoking cigarettes.

"Well come on," She motioned, "Let's go."

We stepped out of the car and began walking up to the building. From there, we obviously walked in and to the front counter.

"Hey, Cayden,"Laelah spoke to a man walking across the room. He smiled and made his way to us, giving both of us a polite nod.

"What can I do for you ladies?" He leaned onto the counter.
