"Hey Pooper-Scooper?" Laelah called.

"Yes, Trash Can?" I responded.

"What shall we do today?"

Well, we could go eat wings, or maybe some chicken, potatoes are good, goldfish crackers are always a winner, I don't know. Let's just go find a buffet to help us make our decisions.

Quiet down tummy, we just ate ten minutes ago-and those cookies were good. Hush for a few moments.

I shrugged, "I don't care. But I need to get out of your place for a while."

"Is it that repulsive?" She asked, faking her hurt expression.

"It's so disgousting I can't even stand to look at it," I closed my eyes and pushed my hand toward one wall, and my head at the opposite one.

When I opened my eyes we exchanged a smile and continued the conversation.

"So where?" She asked

"I already told you- it's not up to me; wherever you want to take me is cool as long as it's not the dump."

"Well... I've got nothing. Let's just do something cheap, I don't get paid for another couple days."

"No prob, I've got twenty dollars to get me through Christmas," I stated truthfully.

She placed a finger on her chin and continued to tap it a few times. She perked up a few moments later and pointed that same finger upward towards the ceiling.

I could literally see the light bulb above her head flicking on.

"Oh goodness you've got that look..."

She put on an evil grin, "Here's the plan."

I braced myslef for what was to come, fearing the worst.

Let's go bungee jumping off of the nearest bridge in nothing but our underpants!

"So, go curl you hair loosely. I will do the same to mine at the same time. When you're done, come to me, I've got something in mind..."

Everyone at any bridge should evacuate immediately...

And cue me tripping over the curling wand cord. I suppose I never thanked that rug for being there to break my fall, so thank you fluffy giraffe rug. I stood back up and composed myself, which wasn't that hard, I didn't have much to show off- last night's outfit and Laelah's blue elephant slippers that she left under the spare bed, which was mine for now.

I made the journey of 'A tousand miles' (Rafiki reference there c: ) which was really only like fifteen feet, and stepped into her room without bothering to knock.

"Oh good, you're here. I've just finished my hair as well," She flicked her curls off her shoulder in the least-girly way she could.

"Stunning," I stated.

"Oh be quiet, you don't do it much better," She walked towards her closet and flung the doors open.

"At least I look like part of the female population."

"At least I have a job."

I snorted, "Working at a clothing store isn't much to be proud of, Laelah."

"But I get cute outfits at a discount, I can be proud of that."

I didn't argue back, that is a good think to boast about. She was still rummaging through her closet and she was deep in thought. She looked in the little bins above her head on the shelves, but did manage to not drop them on herself, which I most likely would have.
