** Here's another friend of mine's story. She'd enjoy it a ton if you read it :) www.wattpad.com/story/8223955?utm_content=share_reading&utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link **

"So Ms. Laelah," I spoke, sliding into the bar stool next to her, "What's the plan for today?"

She finished her bite of a cinnamon muffin and swallowed it, turning to me.

"I've got a half-shift from noon 'till 4:30, then Harry's going to drop you off at my mall on his way to the gym and I'm taking you shopping. Then, at around 7 or 7:30, I can't remember which, the seven of us are going out to dinner. We can go from the mall to the restaurant, I'll have a car in the employee parking spaces."

"That's a lot of stuff..."

"It is. When Harry drops you off, make sure you wear something that you can easily change out of in case you have to try anything on while we're there."

"I know."

"Just making sure."

"Oh," I pointed my pointer finger up towards her, "What restaurant are we going to? I mean, do I have to look nice or can I wear sweats?"

"You'd actually wear sweatpants to dinner with boys?" She emphasized 'boys'.

I shrugged, "So what's the dress code?"

"Nice attire, so, probably a dress, or a really nice blouse and jeans."

I groaned.

"What?" She asked.

"Can't we just go out for wings and ribs?"

She laughed, "We'll make a plan for it, okay?"

"You better, now get going, woman, you'll be late."

She got off the bar stool and began walking upstairs. I followed her up, about a foot between us.

"WAIT, LAELAH!" I screamed, causing her to turn abruptly, "Are you still coming to Florida next Friday for that family reunion my Mum's side of the family always plans?"

"I'll see if I can put together some vacation time... I can ask today. And it's just four days, right?"

I nodded, "And Dad said the tickets are nonrefundable, so if you can't make it, I hope you don't mind, maybe I'll ask one of the boys. But Madelynne and McKenzie miss you like crazy, and you still have to properly meet Max and Matt, you've only seen them when they were three or four months old."

"That's fine, and I actually texted McKenzie on the day you were on the plane," She laughed, "Oh, and Kory and Dad can't wait to see you again. They planned a day- a few days after you get back- where they're going to drive over and stay here."

I smiled slightly, I've missed them so much, I can't believe I hadn't stole Laelah's car to go see them.

"Anyway, you should finish up, your work will be upset if you're late and ask for four days off."

"Oh yeah. Are you okay with chilling in the complex today?"

"Sure, I'm feeling lazy anyway," I laughed, "I'll see you later, okay?"

She nodded, heading off to her room.

I walked into mine and plugged in my computer, turning it on. I logged in and opened my Skype app. I called McKenzie and waited for the response.

Nothing.

I groaned and tried Madelynne's account, listening to the ringing sounds.

Still nothing.
