"KAITLYN!" Laelah yelled.
"WHAT?"
"WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY?"
"I DON'T KNOW, IT'S YOUR COUNTRY!"
I heard her groan, even from my position in my temporary room. I was scrolling through twitter, catching up on what I've missed in the past few days. I think Laelah was still trying to yell at me, but when I've lived with so many siblings, I've learned to drown the noises out. After a little while, I closed the lid to my laptop and slid it to the side of the bed.
I left the room and plopped down the stairs, arriving in the living room.
"What to do... What to do..." Laelah spoke to herself.
"We should do some baking!"
"What do you want to make?"
I thought it over, "Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, a red velvet cake, and some muffins."
"Woah..."
"So are we going to do this or what?"
"We're going to get huge..."
"So?"
She groaned, "Fine."
I smiled and hopped off the couch I was previously sat on. I made my way and went to a cabinet, pulling out a binder of recipes. I flipped to the desserts section and commanded Laelah to grab the ingredients.
Let the baking begin.

"I'm glad that's over..." Laelah set the last batch of goods on the counter.
"Same here, that was a lot of effort."
We sat down and I snagged a cupcake, peeling the wrapper off quickly. I stuffed the whole thing in my mouth at once- which made a huge pile of crumbs on the counter I was leaning over.
"Oh that right there-that's attractive..." Laelah mocked.
"Boyfried material at it's finest."
Well, that's what it was supposed to be. It was more of 'moymen maheeryal mat ih hinest'.
I chewed and swallowed, and gulped down my glass of chocolate milk. I turned back to Laelah, deciding on what to do next.
"Do you have a nearby gym?"
She pondered the thought, "There's a guy's gym a few minuted from here, by walking... I think the closest one that you or I can go to is around twenty-five minutes by car."
I groaned, "Take me to the closer one."
"But you can't get in, Kaitlyn."
"I can if I prove it."
"Kaitlyn-"
"Fine! I can walk there, no biggie..." I slipped out of the kitchen and raced my way to my room.
I yanked the door to the closet open and rummaged my way through. I found what I was looking for: a duffle bag Laelah left in the closet. I placed a tank top inside and a pair of old soccer shorts. I pulled out some deodorant and put that in the bag as well. I grabbed some other things- such as my iPod, phone and a pair of headphones- adding them with the rest of the items. I put an extra hair tie on my wrist and slid on my shoes.
Slinging the bag over my shoulder, I walked out and hopped down the stairs, back into the room Laelah was in.
"Which way?"
"Kaitlyn, you can't just walk in and assume they'll let you in."
"I can attempt it though... The worst case scenario would be they say no. If that happens, I come back here and you get to tell me 'I told you so'."
